"Anyway... sorry I interrupted... whatever it was I interrupted." he apologized.
"If you want, you can head back to it, and I'll deal with the cleanup solo." he suggested.

"Well... if we go back now, we may invite disaster to strike once more." he said.
"But if we leave it, we risk the scene being near-impossible to clean, and the greater the chance that the police will become involved before we can erase the proof of us being there..." he added.

"Stupid drow..." he muttered, as he went to Kalin and sat down beside her.
"We need to get you out of here... back home, where you'll be safe... hopefully..."

| It was a couple of hours later when Kalin awoke.
She stirred and sat up, dazed and confused for a moment.
"... huh?" She asked the air, not realizing that Rene was next to her.
