Yeah, a lot of pixeljointers joined Mido through Cat's account!

I have a facebook, but my "friends" aren't really interested in the stuff I'm interested in. And would we really want a bunch of dramatic teenagers joining? I know that's bad to say about them, but it's true.

I'll go through my friends list and see if anyone tolerable may join.

Most likely not, but it's worth a shot.

I got four of my friends to join, two because it had decent roleplays, and two because it gave them a n00b-free place to talk.

And I joined Midorea's fan page on facebook....

Once I get back to college, I'll start advertising. Quite a few of the people in the group I hang with are into avi sites.

It's gone... I did join it, though.

I looked up Midorea, and there's an account called "Midorea AvatarSite". I wonder...

I'll check out that Facebook page after I post this.

I'm kind of surprised this site isn't more active, the fantasy theme and the avatars are very appealing.

Many people don't like the avatars because (allegedly):
1. They're too big.
2. The males look too much like the females.

To that, I say: If you bitch so much about that, why do you praise the avatars at the site that you go to, when they have the same problem with sex differentiation? All avatar sites have similar looking male and female avatars - it's just easier to design items for.

The avatar size was shocking to me for all of 3 seconds.
Most avatar sites have a smaller avatar and a lot of blank space above/underneath the avatar. These larger avatars just eliminate blank space.
They also allow for greater detail on items.

Exactly. Smaller avatars just feel cluttered to me sometimes, or even squished on some sites.

The only problem I see with our large avatars is that there's a lot of empty space around the legs. It's pretty hard to fix without messing up the balance or making it cluttered.
