I think the small critter they use as a scout/messenger could be a winged lizard. could be called a dragon, though not fire-breathing, but they could fly their messages at high speeds~
As for the large mount creature, I think something like a big deer would be nice. so fast like a horse, but horned/antlered so it can attack/ act as a guard animal too.

ok, so if the rebels are in the mountains, how about something similar to a sugar glider? a small furry animal thats good at climbing, but can sort of fly? XD

| UM That I saw in Avatar they didn't lay eggs and they kindave just ran away if they were scared.

| Well I was just breathing life back into it cause I don't want to be the only one that wants to play if everyone forgot.
I was trying to think of other mode of transportation aside from the Airship thing but I am at a loss seeing as I haven't watched anything that has steampunk type stuff in it in a while. *Hops off to watch Steam boy*
