(Keylaleigh and Titanic)

[Titanic]

"No problem Shel."Ruth turned back into a dog.Chased her tail a few times.She heard it brings good dreams.Kind of silly.But it helps.She thought about how much has happened today.Actually it was only a few hours that seemed like a lifetime.And shortly she was off to sleep.Dreaming of the days to come.

The morning rays hit her eyes, and Shel winced. She had never really had that before. The buildings she spent most of her life in had very few windows, and this amount of sun was alarming to her.

As Ruth said, there was a dog sleeping on the floor. She looked so peaceful. Putting a hand on the dog's stomach, she smiled. "Time to get up, Ruth. We've got a long trip ahead of us."

Ruth was dreaming about running in the forest.She woke up to the gentle touch of Shel.Ruth turned back into a girl.

"So.Do you want to like look for a river or something first?To you know.Like clean ourselves?Or should we wait till we get to our destination?"Ruth was really curious.She hadnt been out of the city or woods in 3 years.She has heard from other people that the outside has changed alot.

[Keylaleigh]

Shel thought for a moment. "Sure, let's clean off, because I'm not exactly sure how long getting to the outer colonies will take. And I'm not sure how well we'll be able to bathe on the ship." She looked at Ruth. "Lead the way!" she smiled.

Shel had this dream of traveling to the outer colonies for years, and she was finally seeing it through. Hopefully her friends would still be around and able to take her. If not, they'd have to find an alternative route.

Ruth walks over to a chest.She grabs a clean pair of clothes and puts them in a bag.She then grabs some soap and shampoo.Puts those in the bag."Okay im ready."She throws the bag over her shoulder and climbs out of the treehouse.She waits for Shel.

"Don't wait up too much! I'm coming!" She jogged up to Ruth. She was used to a weekly shower at the orphanage, and that was it. She had never washed up in a river before. These past few hours were just full of new experiences!

Ruth giggles."Okay fine.Ill make you chase me!"Ruth starts sprinted towards the river.Its about 2 miles away.But shes determined her and Shel can make it.I mean Ruth does run to the river everyday.Why should today be any different?

Shel grinned. "I accept your challenge!" She shouted as she ran in pursuit. She wanted to try to get ahead of her, but Shel knew that that would be a dumb move. She couldn't get ahead of her guide. She didn't know what way to go anywhere in this forest. The cool forest air felt good against her skin, much better than the city smog. If she didn't have a mission, she would want to stay here forever.

Ruth wonders why Shel hasnt passed her.She has seen her run before.She runs pretty fast.It takes Ruth a moment to realize that Shel doesnt know the way to the river."Maybe this will be fair game next time!" She shouts and she turns right.

[Keylaleigh]

Shel grinned, taking the left turn as well. Ruth was easy to follow. "Well, the next time we start running, I'll be the one leading you!" She laughed. The spaceport that they would be heading to was very secret and only known by the members of Shel's gang and the rebel captains who flew the ships.

Ruth came to a halt and turned around."She noticed that Shel turned the wrong way."Did ya find a shortcut?"Ruth started to laugh and turned around to continue running.
(Yes im guessing its a typo.But hey.It could add some comedy to this)

Shel grinned sheepishly. "It was my other left, wasn't it?" She laughed. "I've always been pretty bad with directions." Shel took a deep breath. "Now, what way were we heading."

Ruth giggled."Its fine.Honest mistake.Just follow me.We should be there soon"Ruth jumped over a boulder in her path. "Watch your step.Theres a mountain in the path"Ruth called back.Then she laughed because it was most deff not a mountain but a boulder.

Shel easily scaled the boulder. Boulders were a lot easier than wire-covered fences. She was excited about getting to the river. She had never seen a river that wasn't polluted with some sort of waste, so a clean one would be a pleasant sight. And she wasn't sure what the water situation would be once they left Earth, so she'd get as much clean water on and in her as she could.

Ten minutes pass by and Ruth comes to a halt. "Okay here it is.One of the only clean rivers left.One that not many people know about."Ruth puts her bag down and pulls out one of the shampoos and soaps and holds it out to Shel "Here ya go"She grabs hers out and sets them aside.Then she pulls out her clean clothes and sets them on her favorite flat rock for when shes ready to get out.She walks to a tree that has her towel from the day before drying."This is the only towel i have.You can use it to dry off.Ill just shake the way dogs shake to dry off."
