"I couldn't stand what I'd been forced to become, so I just quit caring. Me getting expelled from school, and locked in that fucking ward, is just the tip of the iceberg in regards to what I used to be like." she added.
"But... thanks to you, I actually care about you, and almost care about myself."

"How can I not know? I only grew up in forests. But then again, you have to remember, with me being a freaking of nature, naturally created, it isn't surprising that I'm as bitchy as I am." She added with a shrug.
"Besides, what difference does it make anyway? So what if you find out personal things about me, like how that fucker raped me to try and make sure I listened. Used that as a bargaining chip 'you listen to me and be a good little girl, and you won't go through this again'." She said, quoting him in a voice that almost sounded like her adoptive fathers.

"And Marissa just stood by and watched. Why else do you think I was so willing to beat her head in with her curling iron? The bitch didn't care about anyone other than herself."

"I knew you were doing it. Or at least I had a suspicion." She added.
"I didn't get up and stop you, so you have no right to be apologizing to me." She added with a shrug.
"Although, I will be honest, this apartment is too fucking small for my tastes, which is part of the reason why you damn near see me in here. I'm usually on the balcony because it's too small in here for me. Nevermind the fact that the room that I'm using is tiny." she added

| He thought for a moment at her last statement.
"Too small, huh?" he asked.
"I was actually thinking of moving to a new building." he said to her.
"Apparently the suites there are 2 to 3 times as large as this one." he continued.
"If you were to come with me, you you have a room that's the size of this den area." he informed her, waving his arms out a bit to show how big the room was.
"And the den will be enormous!" he added, sounding a little excited now.
