"Yep." Anna said with a shrug.

"A little lantha bitch decided to side with a drow and come try and kill me." She told him. "I turned around, used a certain flower on her and had her kill herself, plain and simple." She added

Rene continued to blink.

"Wait... wait, was that was the call from you for help was all about?" he asked her.

Anna nodded.

"Yeah. She was drowning me with her natural lantha abilities." She told him with a sigh before running her chest a bit.

"My lungs still hurt from it." She added

"How...?" he started to ask.

"How did you survive the encounter...?"

"Broke her concentration with my vines." Anna told him.

"Although... I"m not surprised it broke her concentration. I managed to summon the black ones."

He sighed and hung his head.

"But... why didn't I help?" he asked.

"I swear I'm the type of person that would help you... I've told you numerous times that I would help you because you're family..." he continued.

"So where was I during all this...?"

"You did show up." anna told him.

"Knocked her to the side, grabbed me and ran. Got out into the alleyway, she tackled you, knocked you to the ground with enough force that you ended up knocked out."

He shook his head some.

"Is that the reason I don't remember all this?" he asked.

"Was the knock that hard?"

"No. It would be because of the flower that got into your system." Anna told him honestly. She then told him what happened, in detail, to the lantha, Candy, and what he almost did himself.

After she finished explaining it, he sighed once more.

"But... why...?" he asked.

"Why try and hide this from me?"

"You were fine. There was no need to tell you." She told him before sighing.

"And why did YOU feel the need to essentially drug me with that damn flower?" She asked

"Because I worry about you." he told her.

"Anna, you're my cousin... you're family... I care about you." he continued.

"I wanted to know if you were hiding something like this so I wouldn't worry, but I want to know... I want to know so I can try and help you more..." he went on.

"Anna, I love you." he added, being extremely candid, as he was under the influence of the flower as well.

"And you should know by now, that I'll tell you something if I feel you should know it. If there's any cause for concern because of whatever." Anna told him with a sigh.

"Simply put, you worry too much." she added. Even under the influence of something like that, she rarely, or rather never, told anyone something so bold as 'I love you'.

He sighed once more.

"I guess you're right..." he told her.

"I suppose it's because my own family was killed in the war, and you're all I have left." he continued.

"I just don't know what I'd do without you, Anna, is all." he admitted.

"You survived without me twice before, so I doubt it would be that hard to survive without me again." She said simply with a shrug.

"Although, I will be honest, it is sweet that I mean so much to you." She added, sincerity in her voice.
