[Rhemiyl]

The spearman tightened the cord holding his hair in place and cracked his knuckles, standing in a fairly open place on the grounds. He unlatched his spear from its hold and swung it out. "I won't cut you or bruise ya', I don't wanna be liable for anything that might get ya' hurt out there," he offered, holding his spear straight up.

[Icewing]

"And I'll do the same, since it would be dishonorable to injure someone who won't injure me," Yuuna said, taking his swords out of their sheaths. The swordsman stood, waiting for Shen to make the first move, knowing it was the habit of the younger male to attack first.

The younger man smirked, and nodded. Shen ran forward, his spear coming down diagonally in his left hand, knowing he'd be blocked from doing any real harm.

[Time skip? XD *is also braindead*]

Yuuna easily blocked the strike. "How pathetic can you get?" he asked, slashing at Shen's left side. A small group of trainees was gathering, probably wondering whether the spearsman or the elite would win this fight.

[Haha, to after the fight? Sure.]

"Just testin' ya," Shen smirked, pulling his hidden blade out for just a second to knock back one of Yuuna's, returning it to the spear before anyone could really notice. He then pushed off with his spear and leaped back, swinging in horizontally. They practiced basic strikes and even some more intense maneuvers, Shen easily getting cocky with the onlookers.

By the time the two had finished fighting, they were soaked to the skin, and Yuuna's hair was also slightly singed, thanks to the face both of them had called upon the powers of their dragons. The fight ended in a draw, mainly because both of them were too tired to continue fighting. The crowd of onlookers had grown larger, and there were even a couple of elites in it who had been watching their fight with mild amusement.

[Oh what a jerk, that Yuuna XD Any complaining from him is his own fault now, I'm sure :I]

Shen returned his spear to his back and walked the short distance to Yuuna. "Not bad, old man," he spoke through his grinning teeth. "I'd offer to dry ya' off but it'd only burn you. Steam is just as unfriendly as a flame." He did just that to himself, the water being forced from his clothes and making his armor hot to the touch. It was used to such torment, showing its wear and discoloration in various places.

[XD Poor Yuuna, all of us being so mean to him, none of us willing to support him when he complains XD]

"So you're willing to burn yourself instead," Yuuna remarked dryly. "A little bit of steam won't hurt me. It's just water that's been heated, and, have you forgotten, I control water." The samurai slid both of his swords in their sheaths, cringing slightly at his wet clothes.

[I know, we'll just call it adorable and move on. Damn princess sure is pouty these days XD]

"'Don't burn me," Shen commented, casually fixing his hair back into place. "You could just get rid of all that water then if you're so confident." His eyes glances at the sky as he pulled the cords tight. "We managed to kill a bit of time, you have some place to be now?"

[XD Yeah, he is XD]

"Yes, I do. It's noon. Have you forgotten I'm leaving? So, please dry me off. I don't want to go to the elites sopping wet," Yuuna muttered. "That would just make me look so noble," he said sarcastically.

[Taking a bit to think this post out cos I wanna irk Yuuna as much as possible]

"So demanding this pr---" he momentarily stops himself, even if the majority of onlookers had dispersed, "you are." The spearman laughs lightly, putting his arms around the man in an almost endearing embrace. "Trust me, the flames would burn if your inner temperature isn't just as hot," he explained, trailing a flame around the man's form once, the water drying up in no time as it passed. Before he moved away, he spoke again, low and unsure of himself. "Be safe out there, k?" The younger man stepped back and awkwardly located the other elites with his eyes. Satou had been speaking with Takenori and was now making her way toward them to tell Yuuna they were ready to leave.

[XD Poor Yuuna]

"Don't hug me in public," Yuuna muttered to Shen, seeing the elites were nearby. "I'll only be gone for a couple weeks. Stop being so worried." The tall male yawned slightly, glad he had dry clothes.

Shen chuckled lowly as Satou arrived. So when we're alone then, his thoughts mocked, I was only doin' it so I wouldn't burn you, anyway. "Afternoon, Satou-san," the spearman greeted his superior. She nodded to him and spoke to Yuuna. "Takeshita-san, if you're finished here, you're needed at the front gate. The others are leaving momentarily."

[Wow, I just realized Yuuna's last name was Takeshita XD Fail...]

Yuuna nodded. "Ok, I'll be there right away. I just need to get my things," he said, before turning and starting to walk towards Shen's room where he had left his stuff. Picking it up once he got to Shen's room, he turned to Shen. "Well, I'll be seeing you again in a couple weeks. Don't get too worried," he said quietly to the other male.

[Hahaha, I've used it a handful of times. Way to forget your own character's name XD]

Shen laughed in his usual way, "You keep telling me that. I'll be fine." He forced a smile, trying to forget that a war's a war and people died no matter which side they were fighting. "Kick some ass. That's an order."
