Rent is a rock musical, about living in New York during 1998-2000, problems like AIDS ect. And the ending really wasn't that long, it would have been even longer if they had put in the Scouring of the Shire <3 (Which, by the way, makes Sam's final words even more touching). You should read the books Bouncy Heart

Books make everything better...^.^ Yea, Rent's a musical that was on Broadway for a while...HUGE deal. The plot's about these guys in NY dealing with AIDS, and the message is basically Carpe Diem, do it all today, because no one knows whether or not you'll be here tomorrow. It gave a voice to all the people on the periphery, which is why it's so huge and so different.

Books are amazing <3 though they did an okay job with the movies. I haven't read the books in forever x_X I am ashamed to say that I usually get stuck at the council of Elrond. I did just read the Hobbit though, I LOVE THAT ONE!

Try reading the Silmarillion. THAT is hard to get through.

I've never completed summer reading during the summer. I usually opt for reading something else.

*sticks tongue out at Mal* Well sometimes the summer reading books are interesting....but not when they are for a specialized class. Like in middle school where they gave you just a list of books you could pick from, heck I read ten of those books instead of two. But reading just one, and KNOWING you are gonna have a huge essay on it as soon as you start the class sucks
