Oh, I know what REM sleep is - we studied it in my psychology class. I also know of the link between REM sleep and dreams. It was the comment that certain people dream more frequently than others that caught my speculation - not because I disagree, but because I've never seen any research on that subject before.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. ^^; I'm not trying to argue either, haha. I'm more than happy to see some progress in the study of dreams and the brain. It's such an obscure thing that it's very hard to get decisive conclusions on.

I have never heard anything such as people have more or less dreams than one another really. I just have always assumed some people remember there dreams better than others. My Ex husband says he couldn't remember having any dreams after the age of eight. But in observing him sleep one night just for the heck of it that and I was pregnant and couldn't sleep for crap. I noticed that he did indeed go into a REM sleep meaning he was having some form of dream he just couldn't recall what it was about when he woke up.

I dream every night some dreams I remember very vividly just because it was just a really weird or real feeling dream, others are just very blurry and I can't tell you what happened but I know I had been dreaming.

For example just the other night I had a dream that my son was the cause of the Zombie apocalypse but I wouldn't let anyone kill him off because he was my son and he never bit me to turn me so it meant he knew his mommy and that he was still human. Then I woke up to him crawling over my face.

I'm a twitcher when I sleep. Well, I know that I twitch a lot when I fall asleep, anyway.

Last night, I had three fairly odd dreams. One starred two characters in the manga Wallflower, Sunako and Kyouhei. (I was seeing from Kyouhei's perspective.) It was an AU though, I guess. He kidnapped her because his family ordered him too and they went to Africa. Apparently, the family wanted to sacrifice Sunako to a bunch of lionesses so that they could capture and eat them. When the pair got there, Sunako was thrown into a pit and Kyouhei started arguing with his family. When the lionesses started coming, he jumped down and started fighting with her. Somehow, my brother was there too, and he was fighting as best he could, though he was already half dead. He ended up dying. Sunako and Kyouhei got seriously injured, but won the fights, and Sunako was kinda dazed because of all of the blood loss. She looked at him, confused, and fell to the ground. He did shortly after, and the people gathered all of the lionesses and ate them after they mended Sunako's and Kyouhei's wounds.

In the other, I was babysitting a bunch of kids, and there were strangers in the house. We were all getting along fine until one picky little girl wanted to eat, just when I was about to go swimming. I was trying to find food for her, holding my bikini in one hand and getting stuff with the other. All she wanted was ice cream and such so I made a deal that if she ate one real food substance, she'd get it. A guy - he was actually Sam, but in the dream I didn't know him - came in and I asked him to help me find something. He wasn't paying much attention to me, so he just kinda stood around while I got the girl food. As she ate, I lay on the kitchen floor and looked up at the guy, tugging his shorts leg. He still basically ignored me as I tried seducing him and everything - changing into my bikini in front of him, sitting in provocative poses, everything. In the end, he didn't care, and it switched to later that night when I was laying on a bunch of one-person beds with girls, talking about the day. I wasn't being girly enough for them, so they pushed me off the bed and the dream ended.

And in the last, I was at some camp where all the kids were divided into three groups: The indians, pirates and normal group. The indians were all little kids, the pirates were all rich kids and the normals were the rest. We were all playing on some playground surrounding a lake, and I was sitting in front of the water where an indian kid tried to push me into the water. I was obviously too heavy to push, so I looked at him with a smirk and told him. He still tried, so I took his arms and dunked him into the water before lifting him back up and putting him on the ground. I reminded him and he got pissed and ran away. I walked up with everyone else and noticed that the pirates were invading our territory, so I yelled out and prepared to fight. After knocking down about four or so, I ran to the pirate territory and asked them why they were being unusually violent. They then broke out into song, singing about how the camp made money if our parents paid the hospital bills, and the counselors were giving them all high fives. I walked back to my camp and sat by some girl, suddenly realizing that my phone went missing. I asked her if I could call it on her's, while still checking my pockets, and woke up. When I woke up, I had one hand on my hip where my pocket would be, and one on my phone, sitting right next to me.

At the end, I began questioning to myself why I wanted to find the phone so badly. Then it occurred to me that I turned the phone alarm off earlier and I needed it to wake up. Literally, as soon as I thought, I woke up. It was interesting.

I just had a really weird one yesterday.

You see, I shaved my legs recently, and not being very good at it, I managed to get two long stripes of burn. ouch.

So, in my dream, the skin had been burnt off, and somehow it occurred to me that it was completely logical that now that the skin was gone, I would be able to look into the leg, like a window. So I did, curious to see what is inside my legs. But oh! Someone had put stickers with drawings of my legs insides on my leg instead! Kind of like with the cheap plastic toys kids have. And the stickers didn't make any sense, the bones were not where I knew where they were! And suddenly, my entire leg was covered in them! I couldn't get them off!

Oh, that's just weird. o-0 I wouldn't even begin to be able to analyze that.

I had a dream the other night about a baby eating my dads legs off, and then I told the cat, "Man it's crazy here, I need to run away." The cat nodded at me like he understood. Then I went out on my own, and had to prostitute myself for money for a place to stay. o3o


I also had a dream that Matt, where a user here that I know from else where, helped escape a zombie situation. xD

I've been having odd dreams about my boyfriend lately. In most cases, he's ignoring me, but in last night's dream he was annoying the shit out of me. He was being really cuddly and wouldn't give me any space, and at one point he picked me up and started rubbing my back against my closet doors, saying, "Rub rub rub rub rub... Rub rub rub rub rub..." and then tried attaching me to my bedroom door without an adhesive. I got pissed at him and told him off, saying to just leave and never return, but when I went to get dinner he was sitting at the table eating with my family! He finished early and went in my mom's room to get on the computer with some people, and when I told him to leave he said, "No, I'm playing Runescape." Then later that night he tried to kiss me goodbye! D:< I told him to get the fuck out and walk home.
