Well, my username is my name, but if it's taken on a site, I use Michelle_x0x.

I got Michelle_x0x from the e-mail I made 6 years ago. (michelle_x0x_@ hotmail. com)

I have no idea, but I use it for everything now. xD

Ive been using Dlady67 for years now on any sites that I join. I think the D stood for dragon at first but I like how when you say Dlady it almost sounds like The Lady. As for the 67 I just like that number

My user name is the name of the Norse version of eve (yah know,adam and eve). In there story, the first man was named Ashin and the first women was named embla. I think embla means vine ^^

I've always liked the way embla sounds, its just rubs me as a fantasy-esk name yet is simple and easy to say~ (Em-blah).

Well, for mine, it is a common name that I have used before, but I found it when I looked at my Wizardology book XD It was a name of some item on there and I liked it. I've even used it for a rp character.

Lily is the name of my persona OC.
Who was originally named TigerLily. But it seemed rather cheesy so it got shorted.
I honestly can't remember where the "dragon" came from. But I like the sound of it so I've kept every time I joined. That, and it's rather handy when people want to know your username for some site and they're all the same.

It is after the philosophy transcendentalism i learned about it in high school and I have wanted to use it as a name ever since. I like it. Though i dont think many people know anything about it.

The combination of my two favorite bands: New Order and Joy Division. Yes, I'm a band geek. And actually, my sister came up with that idea so I must thank her.

I picked my username because 1) I tend to swear more than usual and 2) It makes it sound as if my 'actual' username was blocked because of profanity......if that makes sense to anyone except myself.

[Chere and Rose]

I was coming up with an OC character
(<it got dead)
and I wanted to use something that sounded ...refined?

In french Chere means "dear" and it sounded nice and Rose just sort of was the perfect partner for that word in my hear.

OC name was Chere, Rose but it didn't sound right when I used it for a username so I added "and".

I think I made my account at like 4 in the morning. >> So. I was exhausted and tired when I was trying to think of a username. I just remember thinking,

"DONT PICK ANYTHING STUPID OR YOU'LL NEVER STAY HERE."

So I just tried to go with something simple, but cute. That's the story of glimpse. :3

[St_Gryphon]

I played a character named Gryphon in an online game. He was Lawful Evil, using dark powers to maintain the rules. When the game ended I kept playing the same character, but most places wouldn't accept the name Gryphon or it was already used. So I thought it would be ironic to make him a Saint.

Wryn came from when I was starting my japan-obsession phase (now I'm just interested); I was on the forum for this one web comic and Rin (means cold-did i mention I had a dirty emo streak at the time? >w<) was already taken so I reformed the name based on one of the comic's character's names (wruckendain).

After that it pretty much stuck, partly because its taken less often than names that make phonetic sense. It helps too that I seem to always forget that WITHOUT FAIL people ask all sorts of strange questions about it when I use it somewhere new, except here of course. (I fail to see how the name and yetis are connected yet I was asked about yetis twice in relation to it ) I guess I just lurve it too much now to discard it ^^;;

@Gryphon: I've actually always wondered about your username for some reason. ^^; I'm glad to see the story behind it.


@Wryn: I thought samui was cold. o-0 Then again the only time I've used it was when refering to weather. There's also another word, refering to "cold to the touch" but I don't think it's that.
