H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu)

I live in Australia, there's been quite a few cases and unfortunately deaths here too...

Luckily, it has seemed to settle down a fair bit lately but, it's still scary...

Although, they say that you're more likely to die from the normal flu than you are swine flu, with swine flu your likely to catch the normal flu as well...

The vaccine has been released here, my dad's had it, but I'm not too positive about getting it just yet (not just because I don't like needles lol) because of all these adverse reactions that have been reported, I suffer a rare metabolic condition and the government are giving it away free, but I'm still not 100% sold on it, and until then... lol

How about everyone else...??? Has anyone else had the shot...??? Any reactions...???

Yes, I think that Swine Flu has reached my state as well...I heard that ever since April thousands of people were hospitalized...So sad
However, now the vaccine's out, I hope that Swine Flu will disappear soon!

That was one of the things my doctor is testing me for since I've been so sick and not getting better.
I know that there are at least 4 people that has it that are in the hospital behind my house because my Ant works there and make the medication they take.

Did you take the shot? Because I think that if you're sick already before the shot, then you'd get kind of more sick. Plus, I think that some people might have "side effects" like some of my classmates. They were absent for a week...

I had the flu when I was meant to get the shot and they weren't going to give it too me, I guess your body's already fighting one flu it doesn't have enough immunity to fight two at once or something... *shrugs*

A person in my class said that his's family has the swine flu. I don't know if it's fake or not, but I guess it's believable.
