Yes, let's go to Noxans Unite!? X3
Awesomesauce. I hate it when people do make "spam-like" posts. Cause then time is wasted deleting them. >_>

| Wow.. honestly, after reading through this, I feel really bad for Catghost..
If someone wants to make a site, fine, do it. But don't go begging people who've done it to baby you through it. Making a site takes guts, determination, patience and especially time to learn how to do stuff. To make Nox I spent three months learning PHP off of online tutorials and what other people had made that I could edit and use trial-and-error to learn. Why is it so hard to do something like that instead of run to someone who've gone through this? Honestly, as a programmer you become rather miffed when people keep asking you to teach them what you had to learn yourself, and expect you to solve any problems they might stumble upon. Newsflash: It's your site, go learn how to make it yourself. And by this I don't mean "write your own avatar system", but figure out how to get one. It's not that hard, and once you actually manage to set everything up and tweak it you'll be more happy about having done that than anything ever before. 'cause YOU did it. I digress. After having been asked five or more times to help people I simply gave up trying to help, 'cause you know what? There's no credit where credit's due at the end of the day, and ultimately, what people want with making these sites, is E-fame. They wanna be someone who made something, but y'know, it takes something called innovation to pull off something new and exciting and unique. And when you get everyone to clear your path, all you end up with is a finished leisure project which you won't care about.
My advice for Catghost, take it or leave it, is to stop answering questions. There are plenty of places to look for help, but people asking other site-owners for help might as well ask a carpenter help them make a chair, and then sell it and keep all the profit. It's uncool and not worth it. You don't have to be a dick about saying no, and if people can't accept that you won't help they obviously don't want to make a site for the sake of making something, they just want to be popular. And honestly? Fuck them.

| I agree, most are in it for the fame and money. Most don't even know how much work and dedication it takes. But I believe everyone should be able to create a site if the wanted, but if it they want a successful site they'll need to have allot of experience with PHP, patience, a good budget(if they plan to hire others to draw/pixel for them) and different motives beside fame and MONEY! MONEY! MONEY!
*cough*
But now whenever someone PM's me asking how to create a site, I usually direct them to here.
And also, I stopped answering questions 2 pages ago.

| Yeah.. but it's more to show people how hard maintaining an avatar site really is and discourage others from creating one.
Which is why I link to it. lol.
