| Yeah. . . however what is it. . . saturday nights they play a crap load of anime.
Big O
Bleach ( hate the american dubbed voices )
Code Geass ( spelling? )
Death Note
Shin Chan
Full Metal Alchemist
Cowboy Bebop
Ghost in the Shell
Inuyasha
and maybe others.
Also other nights I know they do have other animes.
Mind you I too started anime on toonami. . . other then things like speedracer that i didnt even realize they were anime tell years later.
However I remember the days of watching Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon Ball, Thundercats, and many more as the years went on.
So yeah it sucks that toonami is gone but there is still a lot of anime there.
Also if you have the sci fi channel check out ani mondays on it. . . they are at like 8 or so and have some good animes on there.

| Ah, Toonami.
Good times, good times. I remember those days when I'd come home in fifth grade, turn on the television, and it was the middle of a Sailor Moon episode. I thought, 'wow, that's kinda cool! Sparkly!' and I was hooked.
I would watch Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z religiously. I literally was obsessed to the point I had shirts, toys, happy meal things, notebooks, everything.
I still have the first three Sailor Moon movies, I watch them. Pereru is so cute, omfg. *fangirls a bit* VHS tapes, mind you, NOT DVD'S.
But, alas, as time went by, more and more retarded shows started popping up. I used to watch Code Lyoko, but that got boring fast. Same for Teen Titans.
That's the problems with cartoons and animes for me. If they aren't short (such as 21-27 episodes) I get bored really fast. That and I have other things to do. Note, I don't have a stable enough internet to watch animes or anything like that on the computer, so I don't get the same luxuries as most of you little spoiled... D< *shake fist*
I preffer to borrow from my friend who owns almost every anime ever freaking made or ever comes out, or just buy it myself when I get cash. I generally do both, borrow then buy myself. I did that with quite a few anime series. I like to actually support the companies that create the animes, or else they're going to stop funding their projects and guess what, guys.
You'll have to watch badly dubbed fansubs for the rest of your life if they cut it off. Or worse, they might not even MAKE Anime anymore. I guess I'm just kinda jhfkdhfkjhfd about pirating sht and what have you. Mainly because I never fell into that sort of thing, I never had the means or the energy to do so.
Anyway, back to Toonami. They started showing stupid as heck shows on it, so it's no skin off my nose that it's gone now. I miss Tom, srsly, he was sexy. He was like. The awesome guy that helped me understand I was watching Ah-nee-may. lol he will always be my first cartoony love. <3

Ah, same for me! XD I didn't watch them as frequently as I did Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z so I'd sit down for an episode and be really confused. >_<;;
As far as pirating goes, I really don't care much. I mean, I watch the stuff, but that's only because I literally have no money to spend on cartoons. I feel bad for it and all, but I own one series and that's Fruits Basket. XD In the future, if I ever move up the social ladder, then I'll definitely be buying some of my favorite anime series.

It seems you and I are quite alike, right down to age. Ah 5th and Sailor Moon go hand in hand for me too. xD I also have the VHS sailor moon movies ftw!
I remember being so excited about the "lost episodes" which was really just the rest of the second season. xD
I watch bleach online, and I watched death note online before it was licensed in the states. The only reason I watch bleach online is because only the first "arc"/season has been released over here, and I am completely up to date which is very very far ahead of that. xD

| @Chu - I KNOW. They started getting repetitive, then my mother watched an episode and pointed something out while I was watching Code Lyoko , "Why do their foreheads look like angry little china men with wigs?". I COULD. NOT. TAKE IT. SERIOUSLY. AFTER THAT. I kept hearing 'I'm working hard. Cuz I'm no Fun. BUWONG" from Family guy, I swear! I started realizing then that a lot of cartoons were either Americanime or just really bad cartoons ripped from the side of milk cartons. Teen Titans really got under my skin after a while. Before there were no love interests, and I LIKED that aspect. Though, the Terra / Beast Boy arc was GENIUS. I totally cried when she turned to stone. I used to watch it a lot but after a while, my cousin got so into it I'd seen the episodes like, eighty times and I got sick of it.
@LUF - You know how hard it was being the only anime lover in elementary school! D: I hated it, it continued up until about mid of middle school (around grade seven) when I found a friend that we would write stories and kind of do a roleplay journal thing going on between the two of us from the series. From Rurouni Kenshin to DBZ, we did it all. I loved it, I miss it almost, but she changed a lot. Gave me all of her anime, though, so I was happy. I still have it all in my cabinet. I read the books all the time for ideas in character or outfit designs of my characters. AND YAH. I KNOW. I used to flip out if I missed a SINGLE EPISODE of Sailormoon. I would even go so far as to get vhs tapes and record it, then Hamtaro and Sagwa. xD I WAS A WEIRD KID.

| I was so sad when it ended that way. I felt so bad for both sides, honestly. But I don't wanna ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it and will call me a poopy head for spoiling the series or something for them. >w<
It was a good series at first, but the entire romance thing never appealed to me really. I guess cuz I wasn't love obsessed as a teenager. I liked more humor than romance in movies and things like that. I guess cuz I didn't like crying.
Too bad every anime series that I own or really like has, somehow, made me cry for one reason or another.

| I was so mad when I heard about that. That's like, where so many years of my childhood went. Like all you guys, I got sucked in during the DBZ/Sailor Moon Era and stayed all the way through the end of the Tenchi Stuff. And then I'd sneak on late every Saturday night to watch .Hack//Sign.
The earlier years of Adult Swim were notably better years. I hate half the crap they put on there now. Even a lot of the anime.
I did enjoy Cowboy Bebop and a couple of the Gundam series they've shown though.

| The American version of naruto is pathetic. The subbed version is much better and not so timid in some aspects!

| I've always disliked Naruto. The craze for it was terrible.
The dubbing was awful, the voice actors, the censorship, everything. Even the Subbed version wasn't really all that good. The manga was okay, but not the best. Definitely not my cup of tea.
It's definitely no skin off my nose that Naruto's gone. They still play the movies once in a blue moon.
