'I'm not sad,' replied Miranda. Although unconsciously she let her tail droop a bit.

Ka-Tentos was breathing uneasily. Although creating the magic bubble didn't take any effort, he felt like something was pressing against his chest, trying to stop him from severing the darkness's link to this world.

Kraven laid her head on his chest weakly asnd tiredly. "I feel tired" she muted her skin blackining

Ka-Tentos picked her up. 'Then rest.' Although he was starting to feel tired himself. Very unusual for an elf.

Her hand twiched as a strange tribal design crawled up her wrist. "Its happening again we have to hurry" she mutted her eyes closed.

'We're trying,' said the elf. 'I'm sure you can feel the Darkness trying to slow you down too.'

She let out a howl of pain and her eyes began to whiten. "I have to " she broke free of the elf but the barrier shocked her causing her to fall and the darkness to secced.

'No!' shouted Miranda. 'Snap out of it! We're so close!'

Kraven licked her sharp teeth and let out a shudder. "I have to hurry" she said as she tried to break from the barrier again she fell and looked at miranda.

Miranda touched the fairy's face with the tip of her toungue. 'Please, try to resist. Darkness know you are the one keeping us together.' Ka-Tentos took her hand.

Kraven looked at Ka-tentos and sighed wealky then looked at miranda. "Knock me out" she muted

Miranda looked at her in surprise. But the elf was already reaching his mind out to her. He felt her consciousness, like little strings, and snapped them where they connected to her physical body. Immediately she went limp, and the dark skin flaked away. Ka-Tentos held her in his arms again.

Sleep seemed peacfull for Kraven, all to familiar, with arms holding her tight.

'Let's go.' They climbed slowly up the mountain. At times, when Miranda glanced at Ka-Tentos, she could see a vein in his head pulsing with effort. She wondered whether he was trying to fight of Darkness at this very moment, and if she could help him. But they just continued silently, getting ever closer to the portal.

((omg, if they manage to beat the Darkness, that'll be the first time ever I've finished an rp, but of course, there are always twists...))

Grannela hovered toward the entrance to the cave, taking form from a young fairy to a beautiful older elf. "I will erase that miserable little fairy from history" she growled and pur on a fake smile. "I shall protect you master darkness"

The darkness felt its invisible claws being planted into the hearts of the mortals. It always picked at those more vulnerable to it, slowly getting to the others through them. It hardly noticed one of its loyal servants give him the message. They were all just like insects, compared to it.

Ka-Tentos narrowed his eyes. 'There, in the distance. There is a cave. We shall rest there.' Both he and Miranda had spotted it, with their eyes keener than all other races.
