alright. just wondering. no I don't have any ideas. not that good at brain storming. I just normally go with what's decided or just with it. I never plan anything so it might be harder for me to do one with you guys.

Brainstorming isn't my strong suit either(if you didn't already realize that by the sucky ideas I posted), so don't worry ^^

Hmm, I'll get my sister online so she can post a couple ideas. She always has good ideas.

Found another plot bunny Happy

The Land of Tears
It has been raining in D'sil for hundreds of years, no sun shined for over 400 years. D'sil has been named 'The Land of Tears' for that very reason. But now the people of D'sil are tired of rain. They want to see the sun, want to feel its warmth. And a legend a's old a's time itself may help them find the light. The legend states, that, those who wish to see the sun must go on a journey to find D'Silvera's tears, the tears of a legendary goddess.
I was basically thinking they could encounter three trials(which I already thought of but won't reveal) along their way to finding the artifact, and each trial would test their trust. Lame, I know

2)
What is this, you say? A strange new cure, all illnesses gone? Only costs a drop of blood? A cure for every disease on earth has been found. There is only one drawback. To use it, you must give away your soul. It only costs a drop of blood, a drop of blood that releases your soul. Don't try to fight it, you'll only fall ill, plagued by voices and sights, a new kind of madness. What's that? You'd rather not be cured? Well, sorry, but it's not a choice.
So, basically, your average 'evil company finds a cure for all diseases and uses it to buy people's souls away from them' roleplay. And those who use the cure but don't pay for it slowly grow insane until they kill themselves(Why is it that I always think up at least one roleplay that involves people killing themselves?) The protagonists of the roleplay have to try and stop the evil company and return the souls to the souless.

Well, that was two more lame ideas for you guys, comments?

I think the second litter of bunnies is better to work with but I'm still laughing over that Billy nonsense.

I could really go for either of these, the latter reminds me of Repo: The Genetic Opera but with souls in the stead of organs. I think both are doable.

Yeah, the first few bunnies really were just basic ideas, I have them thought out a lot more if you want the full versions. I just got lazy last night XD

Never heard of that XD
I personally prefer the first idea of the two, but maybe that's only because all this rain is depressing me XD

Why don't we do a dragon-themed roleplay? Apart from the fact that I'm dragon-obsessed, I really need to practice drawing dragons, so that would be great. I also have a couple possible ideas:

*1: Set in medieval times, a new dragon-hunting guild has started in a kingdom, and all local dragons are now at risk. They're trying to live among villages as normal humans, but if they're caught they could be tortured and executed by the kingdom's knights. However, not all knights are completely evil, and would they have the heart to kill a dragon?
Basically, your standard evil-characters-becoming-good-then-back-again roleplay. Feel free to elaborate on this.

*2: Set in present times, people are suddenly appearing as regular humans with preexisting, normal lives and no explanation whatsoever. They only remember one thing: They're dragons, come back after thousands of years. But why? And what's with their lost memories?
This would be a good plot for some drama- for example, dragon appears in a life where he/she has a preexisting spouse and/or children, but ends up falling in love with someone else, e.t.c. I have absolutely no idea why the dragons really appeared. XD

We could also do some kind of shape-shifting roleplay, too, with all different kinds of animals. Hm... I actually kind of like that idea better. XD
However, I don't have too many plot ideas for that one, just some really basic ones:

*1: Set in colonial times- people are out on a hunt for witches, and shape-shifters are their main target. If a shape-shifter is accused of being a witch, there are only two ways to escape death- either being trialed and found not guilty, or accusing someone else of controlling you- then they will be found guilty, and you will be released and considered 'free of witchcraft' at their death. Now shape-shifters, who can recognize one another at sight, are all pointing fingers at one another, and no one, even the most careful, are safe. Betrayal is everywhere, and people are turning on friends and enemies alike as no one wants to die.
Kind of a different version of my dragon plot idea. This one's also pretty good for drama, too.

*2: Like the second dragon plot, people are appearing with normal, preexisting lives, but have no memories of them- they only know that they're shape-shifters, but they don't know why, how, or where their memories have gone.
Like I said before, good for drama, romance, e.t.c.

That's basically it. They also don't necessarily have to be shape shifters- we can kind of create a type of mythical creature, too, it doesn't really matter.

Also! Some general questions:

*Who will make the RP topic?
*What kind of RP will it be? I can do advanced literate, but I'm not sure about everyone else. Minimum word count per post?
*Will we be creating characters here or in a separate sign-up topic?
*Er... that's about all I can think of right now.

I like the witchcraft-shapeshifters idea Happy That sounds fun. Dang, Xeno, why must you have such a better imagination than I do?

In answer to your questions, here are my opinions for the answers:
1)I suppose I'll probably make it, just to keep it kinda organized, since I was also the one who posted this topic(I'm really just being OCD about this, someone else can post it if they want to)
2)No min word count, please. My iPod can't count words automatically, and, I really don't want to count the number of words in every post(Since I'm generally posting from my iPod). I would think a minimum of two paragraphs, five sentences each, would be a good length for our posts(of course, we can post more)
3)We'll probably be posting our characters in the first four posts of the roleplaying thread, and then just roleplay on that thread.

Yeah. I like either the first shape-shifter idea or the second dragon-themed idea.

I guess I'll answer my own questions:

*1: I'd also be willing to make the topic, if we ever actually agree on a plot. We may need to work on some sort of intro, first, though.
*2: Just don't post from your iPod. Laugh If you're posting on your iPod, that means that either you're not allowed to be posting, or it's so early/late that no one else will be roleplaying. I personally like the idea of a minimum word count. I think that it's much more exact than a minimum paragraph/sentence requirement.
*3: Or we could post them here, once we actually choose a plot. I think that would be a bit more organized. Otherwise, what would happen if we needed to make more characters? Although I suppose we could each reserve a post at the front of the topic and then edit it later too. Yeah, I like that idea.

...I suppose I'll flesh out some plots and think up some more ideas right now, then.

1) We may first want to agree on a plot before writing an intro XD
2) But I usually write my best posts at three am. Plus, there's always someone online late at night apart from myself. And word counts are so annoying, anyways. I find them so restricting. Minimum paragraph amount is so much easier.
3)I personally prefer editing our posts in the roleplay to add new characters, and, chances are, we won't be needing a second character unless our first one dies.

Can someone please stab me if I post again within the next hour?

*1: Definitely Laugh
*2: But minimum word counts are so much more organized!
*3: Well, I think we agree on that answer, then. Although, since there's only four roleplayers, we may want to create multiple characters each. But we'll see how that goes later.

*pulls out butter knife* Will do!

Anyway, we may as well wait for the others to get online before we decide on a plot. Why doesn't everyone choose a 'favorite post' which their plot was posted in, then we narrow it down to one or two posts, and then we each choose a favorite plot out of those and see which one wins? I don't know- something like that, anyway.

I should probably stop posting too. I need to work on my 100 Themes writing challenge. 1 down, 99 to go! Laugh

New reason why we should have sentence minimum instead of minimum word count: It is almost impossible for me to type with both hands on my computer

That idea is fine with me, although I have a feeling we'll all be choosing different favourite posts XD
