| When i do my avatars it depends on the mood that i am in
as to whether i go either dark or light, all the same theme
(donation items or store bought items) or a mixture of both.

| I like to craft avatars around a single item. For example, I actually made this just so I could wear the Laiga headdress. And I made an avatar specifically to show off the water sash. I did the same thing on Gaia. I had a single item that I really liked (such as a rockin' goatee), so I'd make an entire avi to match it.

I think I'm going to buy the rest of the commons in the shops and start making more outfits..
But..its hard not to use relics..
Maybe I should hold a contest and see who can make the best outfit with the least amount of Relics/Event/BM items..

But I have the same problem, Branny. Commons don't take on the unique style that I like to use in avatars. And, when you have every rare at your disposal, you kinda use 'em without realizing it.

And I totally agree. I used to be REALLY good at crafting outfits out of commons/event or promotional items, and I lost that ability the moment I started buying monthlies.
