Anywho, I personally don't have much of a problem with it. Yes, the buttons are big but they do look better than the previous links. Would it be possible, Cat, to use css rather than images? That way they could have drop-down menues and there wouldn't be as much trouble with clicking on the right link. (Which I don't have - you just hover over the button, move the mouse down, THEN click on the link. You don't need to hover over the other buttons.)
Also, there is a little part under the bottons that bothers me a bit:
Moving the avatar up two pixels would fix that though.
Also, the blues in the buttons and sign seem darker (and lighter for the words) than the blue in the background. Is that intentional? o.0
It may seem like I'm complaining, but I actually have no problem with it. ^^; I'm just trying to help out the users that don't. |
It's a background image so I cannot make that go away, but Ill try to lower the buttons and see if I can cover it up.
And they are darker because I'm going to be changing the background color to a more darker blue, though I haven't had time since I've been away, I'll probably be able to change it Saturday though.

Some of you have just been outright rude in here.
I personally like the buttons. I think they allow for much easier navigation.
However, I do think that they could afford to be flattened out a little. Keep the width, but make them less tall. :3
As to the problems with the links under the bar, I don't really have a problem with them. I know they could be difficult to use because of their proximity to the buttons, but I have abnormal hand-eye coordination. >.<
As to the width problems, MaxR, I suggest going and changing your screen's resolution. I know that this computers on a really low resolution, since my parents are blind, but the whole thing still easily fits in the screen. :3
