I bought a new copy of Final Fantasy 9! My old copy wasn't working anymore.

| No, unfortunately, I live in the western/southern-ish part of United States, so we don't have snow. AT ALL. I doubt it ever will. Noo!! I want SNOW!! Hehe...I only say snow once or twice... *o*

also, it is indeed a snow day, so no college for me... but also, im sick ;__; i always get ill when it snows like this. its not fair. everyone else gets to go out and play but i have to sit indoors feeling all horrible...

| FF9 is one of my favorites as well!
Good story, good game play and graphics and the music was great too.
Too bad not many fans liked it.. Said it seemed rather odd compared to others like FF7 & 8...
But I always thought FF9 was more Final Fantasy then 7 or 8..
Oh well..

| yea, admittedly i never really got to play FF8 (when i finally decided to play that one, someone broke disc 1!! wtfskjglskgj i was so mad!) and while FF7 has the biggest fan base, and does have an awesome story, i just always liked the characters and the atmosphere of FF9 better. it felt alot more magical to me... it totally doesnt get enough credit or fans xD

| Exactly, the atmosphere of the game is really magical...like...Black mages, White mages, thieves and dragoons would actually be walking down the street..
Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE FF7 and I enjoyed FF8...both had interesting stories and characters and the music for both were amazing! I still get teared eyed listening to FF7's Overworld theme and Aeris theme. T_T
That's a shame you couldn't play FF8.. It really is a great game...though it can be kinda odd and hard to get used to if you don't get into it. You have to devote alot of time and effort getting all your characters up to snuff and even your main team can be challenging if you don't know what your doing. But lucky the game is built around hardcore players and newbies playing for the first time. Monsters and bosses levels depend on your on. So even if you have a really low level around the end...say...lvl 30-40, then the monsters and bosses will have a similar level. It's pretty interesting to say the least.

| i loved that about FF9 ^^ it just made the whole thing seem more real, sorta :O
yea, i heard that about FF8 - seemed like a pretty nice idea. i would rather that than what they do nowadays. like, FF10 - WAY too easy cos you can swicth to whoever is best at fighting each monster whenever you want (tho admittedly boss fights were still really hard) and FF12 - the gameplay is BORING. once youve set up good gambits, you can basically sit back and watch. yaaaawwwwn.

| ecco- in EXACTLY the same position. I live in Suffolk, and lazy little me decided NOT to go in to college until the afternoon, for a marking day for personal statements, oh no. College closed at 12 and isnt open tomorrow, and my tutors email doesnt work.
Grreatt.
So I'm finalising my ucas form anyway. .gif)

yea my college is closed until monday now. and the external deadline for UCAS is the 15th (next friday) and apparently it takes them 10 days to process applications. so in short, we're all screwed unless they mercifully put the deadline back due to the nationwide snow =/

| yeah and way to much of it to!! i am so sick of all the snow we have here. on christmas we got about 20 inches and then just the other day we got another 6 inches and it seems in about a week we are going to get hit agian with another 20 inches!! i am so done with snow right now you would not even believe!!!
