Are You As Creative A Dresser As Your Avatar?

I'm too lazy to dress awesome.
But I shouldn't because I have some very awesome clothing..however its probably better to keep it in the bedroom really <//<
But nah..I still have awesome clothes in general. I just wear t-shirts and shorts/pants. I have a bunch of skirts, I love skirts..I just don't ever where them cause..ahem..bedroom stuff again. xD

I'm glad to see so many avatars have hats. I've always loved hats. I wish they would come back to being as popular as shoes -- several different ones for different occasion. I think it's very hard for designers to generate interest in getting the public to consider hats the way they were before 1950. Even at Easter time, you still don't see that many of them in church. Frankly, I've never been a huge fan of the baseball-type cap, especially on women. I don't consider it a real hat.

I've dressed as my avatar from Gaia before and as characters from role plays. My group of friends nick named themselves the "Merry band of freaks" mainly because we don't really care about what others think of us so long as we're doing things that are fun and make us happy (of course without causing any harm, danger or offence to anyone).

Our "Freak parties" often constitute us getting dressed up by a theme (last time was "Merry Sue/Gary Stu" night. We normally go out in public like to Chinese restaurants, the park or to some other venue where it seems we just don't fit in.

But as for my current avatar- no. I don't have pants on. Which is just weird for being in public.

My Gaia avatar used to have angelic bow as wings and such so a complete angelic cosplay was in order for that avatar. I've also gone as a bunny waitress, a russian vampire, Victorian steam punk, cyber punk, a pirate, a ninja and a bossomy librarian.

But, I don't know...people say I'm fashionable, but I wouldn't say I dress creatively.

I would never put color in my hair, just because I know I can't pull it off. I might wear some of the things on this site, but some I would only wear for halloween or at a costume party. XD

I have natural dark brown hair but I have four different streaks.
In the front I have purple & a light blue color. :3
In the back there's red & dark blue.
I love my hair. <3
I dress very randomly actually & I love bright colors.
I love standing out. I'm not one for normal things most of the time.
But my avatar is dressed like a hobo so for now I wouldn't dress like it.
Once I get more & better clothes I most definitely would. :]

if i could dress like that without being hasseled constantly i would dress and express myself creativly everyday of the year! it's a reason why i LOVE halloween!! honestly i used to dress alot more interestingly when i was younger but then i just started purposly wearing "normal, preppy" stuff cuz i couldn't be bothered with explaining myself to morons. it was just easier.
now i'm a bit older i'm starting to be more comfy in my own skin again and may well start expressing myself again. though i should mention that i won't be quite as skimpily clad as my avi as i live in a place where the weather is either grey or cold ^^; hehe

as for "fashion elements" i just don't agree with the concept.
fashion is just a style wannabe as far as i'm concerned, it's just money hungry b****s copying people with a talent that they themselves will never possess

I would have to say I am a better dresser than my avatar, to be honest.
Especially since my avatar is just in underwear at the moment. xD

But as for my hair, my hair is crazier than my avatar at the moment. It's actually purple. =P

The clothes I'll probably be saving up for however, wouldn't be something I'd wear in real life.
I'm on the chunky side, and don't feel comfortable in skirts or dresses yet =P

Once I dyed my hair violet and everybody looked at me as if I was a freak But I didn't enjoy this colour on my hair. I often wear dresses that make me more fantasy-looking and at the same time don't make others laugh at me. I like to attract attention when people around like the way I dress and behave, when they understand what is being an individual. But when everybody think you are just a stupid girl that has nothing to do but attract attention by dressing up...what for? The only thing I still wear often and don't bother what other'll think is large snickers with a skirt. I love wearing them with a skirt to death, don't know why. And I hate high-heeled shoes.
Oh, I forget. Not long ago I made elven ears of plastic and they are being dried now. Elves are wonderful creatures.

Actually, I always try to make my avatar look like me IRL as much as I can. I'm much more creative a dresser than my Midorea avvie right now, but I haven't posted enough to make it look good, haha. XD Gotta work on it.
