| Ava turned toward the cat with a bit of shock at first, but it wore off quickly since she has seen much stranger things on her journey. She turned to her work box and pulled out a long silver chain embedded with emeralds, rubies and amber gems. The emeralds were crafted to look like leaves while the rubies were cut to look like roses. The ambers were cut to look like tulips. She held it up to the cat so that the light made it sparkle.
"This is a double wrap necklace, a more complicated piece since I had to hand cut all the gems and hand bend all the silver."

| A rhythmic clicking noise resounded throughout the marble hall of Castle Arcane with each of Lady Pierce's purposeful footfalls. She made her way rapidly down the exquisite corridor, pausing only to nod to the Court Magus as the elf girl hurried off in the opposite direction, set on going who-knows-where.
Pierce drew to a halt at one of the tall, polished wooden doors that lined the hall, reaching into the pocket of her tunic and retrieving a small bronze key, which she deftly fit to the lock in the iron doorknob, turning in until it emitted a barely audible click. She then pocketed the key, turning the knob and letting the door slide silently open on well-oiled hinges as she slipped into the room, letting it lock behind her.
