Jacob Sprackett was having difficulty containing his goblin's curiosity.
Who was this person?
She sounded like fun.
You have plenty of time before the truck gets here...
Jack slowly let himself move away from the statue, still crouched in its long shadow.
Just a peek, he decided.
He would sneak in, take a look, and disappear, just for kicks.
Besides, it was boring waiting for a hovertruck.
Jack quickly tumbled across the room to the stairway, and slinked up the stairs against the wall in the dark night.

The bodyguard walked down the back stairs. He was starving and hadn't had a chance to eat before dragging the mistress home. He enjoyed working for the Gatti's but that one would drive a man insane. Entering the kitchen, he stepped to the fridge and peered inside. Grabbing an apple and a soda, she meandered through the halls back to the entrance where he needed to move the car around back to the garage.

Seeing headlights, he frowned and set the apple and soda down. The girl's parents were out of town and not expected back for a month. The other one was more then likely already in bed. She didn't stay out this late. Slinking toward the window he peered out. A hovervan? Something was not right here.

(Is it alright if I just post here to find this? I'll be sending a character later and will just make this like, my first post or something.)

(@MissNinja: I have no problems :3)
Jack slinked up the stairs in the main hall, soundless, dextrous, and rogue. At the top of the stairs, he stopped to gaze out the window into the starlight, twin moons casting bright and dark in weird shapes across the veranda. From this window, he could see his office. He shuddered at the word.
Office.
It was like a swear word to him. It was so boring, every single day. He'd pull out his hair if he wasn't on the job. Speaking of which, he quickly composed himself and came back to reality.
First, this house, then the Gagnon crest down the street, and then a birthday party for some snotty higher-class girl, and then he had all the time in the world to make a quick buck and have some fun. He grinned at the thought as he poked down the hall. He turned into the light to see her. The voice he heard before, in the flesh. She was sprawled across her bed, snoring. He raised an eyebrow. A drunkard.
He scooted closer. She was tall and thin, like him, and her face, more intricate than any Time Reader he had ever constructed. In his fascination, he has a split-second lapse of carelessness. A food came down upon a single shoe, sprawled uselessly across the floor. As his foot came down upon it, the shoe caved in on itself and his ankle rolled off to the side, taking the rest of his body down with a >whump< just loud enough for him to hear it. Too loud, the heir to the Sprackett empire thought to himself. He quickly rose and composed himself, his eyes falling once more on the girl before him.
