How Far do you read?

I read usually just the topic and the very first post. also the last post or two. But it depends if the topic is very interesting and not that much to read, I read until I get bored of it xD one time I even went on reading for 3 pages.... can't remember when and where that was, but I doubt it will happen again soon :3

Usually, if the topics very long, only the first few sentences and if I get bored I scroll down and read the posts.
Sometimes I read the whole post if it's interesting and then I'll keep reading for a few pages.

depends on the topic - if I'm interested in the posts I read them all sometimes (but that's pretty rare). Usually I just read the first 3 posts and the last one or sth xD

It depends for me. I read the entire thread if its a discussion thread in the staff forum on the site I work on. Or if its a short informative sticky.

If its a long thread I normally just read the first post and skim the first page and the posts that show in the Topic Review when I press reply.

If it is a thread I frequent I will normally skim through the last couple pages. If I see any interesting discussions I will go back farther and read up to see what I missed.

It depends on what the topic is. Generally. Like for an example I read the first post of this thread and then I skimmed through the first page. But with threads I make, I read the whole thing. In role play threads I read the whole thing. With debate threads the read the whole thing.

It differs in the topic at hand. If the topics starting post attrackts me I read along to the next post, if the discussion or conversation between the posters is interesting enough I usually read the whole thread.

When the topic itself in the first post doesnt interest me, or confuse me then I just press the back button on my internet browser XD

I usually read the first post, and sometimes I will read a few other posts. Sometimes I only read the first post and respond to that. Sometimes if it's a short topic I read all the posts. Or if I find the topic to be really interesting, sometimes I will read through all the posts or at least several.

I always read the first post and possibly others depending on if there's a specific rule/set of rules that pertains to that thread. The rest depends on the length of said thread and topic of discussion. If it's something that heavily relies on the answers of other posters, sure, I'll read most if not all of it. If it's just a hangout-type of thread, though, I'll just read as far back as is interesting :P

When I have time I'll read all posts and pages. If not I'll usually just read the first post to see if I'm interested or not.

I like reading the first post, a few others on the first page, and then I skip to the last. Especially if there's a ton of pages in the thread. Sometimes I woud get lazy and wouldn't even read the first post...but that's a bad idea, so I make an effort to read it now.

If there's only about five pages, and I'm Uber interested in the thread then I'll probably read every post, lol...

If there's more than I'll probably just read the first and last pages to see if I can get into the topic conversation, lol... so I don't just post something totally off topic and irrelevant I guess *grin*

That can depend on my mood. But I read the first post and the last page to catch up. If it's one of those threads with several posts afterwards for like contests and stuff I MIGHT read it. But I can get competitive about stuff like that and I pretty much always lose which means lots of unhappiness for me.
