Storylines for avatar community sites are always pretty fun to get into. I remember really getting into Gaia's storylines, but I can't say I feel that way about that website anymore. Anyway, the idea about a higher deity killing a lower deity (or falling in love with one) sounds quite appealing to me. Really though, I'm sure lots of others probably agree with me. It gives some dramatic effect to the story, and everyone loves some drama!

Why not have more information on what the society was like before the deities went "OMGDIE!!D<"...

Remnants of the ancient culture, artifacts of a scale far beyond the scope of a museum... Maybe even a stockpile of weapons and other violent devices left by the golden age.

I mean, the old world was challenging gods. I doubt they'd honestly think a giant tower would've been enough. Where's the underground hidden robot research facilities? Or, if it wasn't that advanced... The underground hidden magically-enhanced-superhuman-soldiers facilities? =P

I doubt it's that advanced in Midorea, Maverick, but I do get where you're going with it. It sounds pretty neat.

Dealing with the war against the growing technologies and the ancient magics of the Deities would be a pretty good plot device.

How does technology affect the current situation with the deities? How come there are more Alchemists than Magicians now? How doe the deities view science?

Do humans or the inhabitants of Midorea consider the growing technology to be a blessing or a hinderance?

How about the people of the forest? Or the creatures used for the chemicals? Are they going extinct? Or perhaps are they overpopulated anyway and the poaching is a necessesity? Is there even any poaching? What creatures are being killed and used for experiments or chemical potions?

Are the ancient magics slowly being forgotten? Or are they being renewed to match the growing threat of technology?

I figure the place could be somewhat of a steam punk / Disney's Treasure Planet type of setting now, not necessarily with space ports and what have you, but some technology such as the ships being able to travel through the air like blimps or telephones and such.

If you go by the seven earths, Midorea takes place during the 8th earth(27,000 years) so Midorea is about 21,000 years more advanced(then we are IRL). ^_^;

But there are so many good ideas, I can't wait to work on the storyline..

Wait... 21 000 years more advanced than us? D= They had mechas and didn't win?

How'd that work?

xP Just kidding.

But still... A new NPC should appear, based on rusty new robots. =o

Oh, no. XD That took place waaay in the beginning. (before the seven earths were ever created)
So they were very.. non-advanced. But still advanced.

...And how could they have beaten the deities with Mechas? Laugh

They would have laz0rz. =O

What'd the deities do? Create the world? They could've always destroyed the world back, but with mechas, the impossibly tedious becomes entertainingly easy!

And yay for weird adjectives.

Oh, and I guess I did read it wrong. D=

Fine, fine. Robot armies and power armor. =P
