It is horrible to abuse animals for the fact of pure entertainment. i really like animals and i think that abusing is mean.

A kind of fundraiser was held in my school once.. it was for a dog whose name I can't remember, but the dog's owner (who rescued him from an animal shelter) let the dog out early in the morning. Two teens got some knives and cut up the dog badly, and ran off laughing. The fundraiser was to help support the owner pay for stitches for the dog and such. ._. The dog had more than 12 stitches, I believe. I hate animal abuse, and I think many other people would agree with me.

DistortedBrwain: I'm Chinese, and I've been to China last year. Nobody ate any dogs when I went there. D: Maybe the whole 'eating dogs' thing is a misconception, maybe not, but that's just how I think after visiting China.

Animal abuse is just another sad truth. Some people are, unfortunately, sneaky enough to own animals without giving them adequate care, but haven't quite done enough to get the animals taken to away.

Like my neighbor. She owns a large field which houses a dozen or more horses. They're underfed, have no shelter, are surrounded by rusty broken equipment, and have broken through poor fencing several times; one of them found his way over into our field. She's been warned by authorities time and again to pick up her act, and only has one last chance before somebody carts those poor horses away. I'm hoping they go to a better home soon.

Well, that's illegal. It sucks, but at least legal action can be taken against it.

Which I wish I could say about animals farmed for the food that you eat. It's disgusting what happens to them...
I don't.... want to eat meat anymore.

If just because you're going to kill it anyway it deserves no respect? I can't handle that. Life deserves respect. And the fact you seek nourishment from its flesh... it deserves even MORE respect.

All pagans live by this.
Even when taking plants from the soil, the earth itself is to be respected. When mining stones, minerals... anything. Always.

This is why I can't handle such a thing.
Why do humans do this? Many are raised to believe other lives are below them and are told that all other live is here for them, and basically their own enjoyment or use like and object. Disgusting.
