Ah, that happened to me except they changed my name to "lolwut" and changed my pass and email. They trolled after they "harvested" the items. I had to fill out a hacking report, and contact a mod to find out what was going on.

I'm sure you'll get the account back with all the items and the name will be fixed too, not sure about the skin though.

Gaia is like 4 to 5 months behind in fixing hacked accounts, I think they should install a security buffer when ones go to change the email, it send off and email (to the old address) for conformation.

I feel your pain. The first and thankfully last hacking of anyof my accounts resulted in me leaving gaia. By the time the moderators had fixed all my things, I had given up on the site and moved on to Menewsha and Roli.. Never really got into Roli though. Now I am here almost all the time because Menewsha and the others seem to be going the same way as Gaia. Which is sad. I am hoping hacking never comes to Mido.... I would cry.

they made off with alot but the admin that handled my hacking left 800k in my account to make up for the missing items they sold on me. And surprising enough it got handled in less than three weeks to my shock and amazement!

Happily enough as long as I don't use a Vial on my avatar I can change back and forth between any skins I want and return to my Stage 5 Grombie with an experiment 105 drink xD

My mod friend said that they moved more into my account then anything else. They were trying to take over my account because it was an 03 account.

What kind of moron hacker would hack someone with 3 mods on there friends list?
