[LadyHarpy]

Amy took all the boxes over the desk and started to pull out papers and documents. She turned on her laptop and started to type up her reports.

"So is there a chance I'll be able to get some real food later? Obviously it would have to be after the sun went down, but still..." she looked over at the vampire curiously.

[LadyHarpy]

"We can go our to dinner if you like, I know a nice brewery that's dark and calm and has some good food." Amy said as she looked from the documents in her hand and the screen of her computer.

[SenselessPi]

"A brewery hm." she turned back to the TV. Nothing in particular interested her, so she just turned it off. She looked back over to the busy vampire. She wanted to talk to her more, mostly using questions and the like, but didn't want to bother her too much. Imoyn herself hated being bothered during work. She just sighed and cleared her throat anyway.

"Will you show me how to wash my clothes later? I'm starting to feel like a fifth wheel."

[LadyHarpy]

Amy looked up from her work and nodded her head.

"Sure, I'll show you before dinner ok?"

[SenselessPi]

"Alright." she nodded as well. With a sigh, she turned the TV off and began looking around for something else to do. Finding nothing, she went back to the large bed and climbed in. Within moments, she was fast asleep again.

Amy continued to work until around dinner time. She put away what she was doing and looked over to Imoyn, who was sleeping. She smiled a bit and then grabbed some clean clothes. She quickly showered and changed into a pair of leggings and an over sized sweeter and waist belt. She then collected the laundry and walked over to Imoyn.

"Hey, get up. You said you wanted to learn how to do laundry."

Of course, the drow was awake as soon as Amy came within proximity of the bed. She sat up and looked at the laundry, at first confused. Her eyes lit up when she remembered.

"Right right, I'm up." she said, standing up. "Lead the way then, Laundry Master."

Amy carried the laundry over to the elevator and pushed the button.

"We'll need to go to the basement to do the laundry so no need to worry about any bright lights yet."

Imoyn nodded again. Inwardly, she was extremely grateful they didn't have to suffer much more light than just the artificial ones in the building. She did wonder why everyone had to do their laundry in the basement, though. If they had those toilet things and the sinks linked up with plumbing all through the building, then why not just have the laundry washers linked up to the same types of pipes? She chalked it up to money saving and left it at that.

Her mind began to wander elsewhere as the elevator continued its descent. Mostly, she kept thinking about how satisfying it was to see that Rolo boy get socked in the face.

When the elevator reached the basement Amy took the laundry and started to walk down a long hallway until she reached a room filled with washers and dryers. She quickly walked over to one and started to set it up.

The drow watched her carefully and took note of the procedures Amy went through. She could only understand a few of the words on the buttons of the machines, but her quick mind studied which buttons she pushed looked like instead of what their name was.

"It looks to be rather easy." she remarked as she continued to watch.

Amy grabbed some laundry from the basket and threw it into the washer. She picked up Imoyn's laundry and looked at it for a moment before turning to the elf.

"How have you washed this? I'd rather not be responsible for destroying your clothing."

((OOC: Back from vacation! So I'll be more regular with the posting again. ))

"Usually soap and water will work. My clothes are made to withstand the elements very well." she said. Normally it had been a slave's chore to wash one's clothing in the Underdark. Imoyn, however, was not a noble and didn't have that luxury. She had to pay for others to wash them, or just do it herself.

Still, if the surface world's sun hadn't destroyed her clothes, she doubted much else could.

Amy nodded her head in understanding and threw them into the washer with some of her own clothing of the same color. She turned on then closed the door and opened another and started the process all over again until all of her clothing was being washed.
