| I looked at the training section today for the first time & the prices there are absurd. Only the extremely rich can afford to spend that on a regular basis. Please make them more reasonable so average poor folk like me can play too. It might even help to drive traffic.
Also Id like to see the newbie stor changed to accept silver instead of copper.

| Agreed on the prices, but finding a medium may be a bit hard.
And why silver? Then there would be no purpose for copper.
Instead I suggest for the shop to have other items such as peasant set recolors.

| Then copper shuould be easier to find since its a 'newbie shop' I dont know how to even fiind copper? Also copper could be used to purchase magic only things instead of useing silver.
Just now this happened:
Quote: |
You inflict a death blow of 2 damage and leave victorious from the battle!
You earn 12 experience, 0 Spirit Points (SP) and 11 Silver.
You finish the battle with 14 HP and 20 MP |
I killed an Imp like the one on your avi & that was all it gave me. Im still a level one & I used my Spartan Sword to do it, it wasnt easy. The reward for killing it was just the same as an easier opponent.
Im starting to think theres not much traffic here because of the imbalance in the battle system. Some things seem fair while others seem outragous.
I think the temple is balanced well by its self.
ETA: I just found aniother Imp I dont think they should be in the level 1 section. Also I find myself inspired to research the battle system among other things. I'll come back with more info later on form examinations.

| You get copper by posting in either the: Fun N' Games forum, Storybook forum, and the music&lyrics sub-forum.
The imp has so much HP because he doesn't inflict a lot of damage with it's attacks and it has a possibility of dropping the equipable imp item. :3
I suggesting reading the new member guide, it should help answer more of your questions about the battle system ad the currencies. :3

| LUF covered most of your post, but I'd like to add that most low leveled monsters aren't as straining as the imp. That one is an exception because of the drop item, but also because it was released during an event. Because there are imps on higher levels instead I propose that it be deleted as a level one or three monster and kept at level six. I've suggested this before but maybe now I have more support?
Also, 11-25 silver itself may not seem like much, but just half an hour of battling (it takes about ten minutes for me, but that's probably because I'm a seasoned member so I raised it) can get you 1,000 silver, which is a good profit. As the levels and subsequently difficulty increase, monsters begin dropping bags of silver, which I will admit, need to be more common.
Also, copper is essential to the economy because it regulates inflation. It's given out in "easy" threads like games so that users don't get silver for minimal effort. New users are pretty much expected to know this because at the very top of the page, this information and more can be found by merely clicking "Help" and reading the guide.
You're more than welcome to research the battle system and post your findings here. I was wanting to do that myself but because of lack of time I cannot, so with you or a group of users doing that we can use more reliable information. The staff knows Midorea inside and out basically, so it's hard for us to decide what would be "fair" to regular or new members.
tl;dr
I suggest:
Adjusted training prices
No level 1 or 3 imps
More/more common bags of silver
Users give us more detailed feedback (such as yours)

| The stats are set so high because they determine how much you hit the enemy for or how much damage you take.
If the prices were set to lower I could max my stats out in a few days and break the system.
The stat training is a option to those that really take the system seriously and don't mind wasting silver upgrading their characters, which really isn't needed.
Now the forging price is really high too but that determines how much you can fix your weapons for. Again, lowering the prices would have you maxing them out and breaking the balance.
For the Newbie store I really don't have any comment...
Except that earning silver isn't hard at all. All you do is make a fighter character, buy a few volleyballs and kill everything, run from imps. Do that for an hour and you'll probably make about 1-2k easy.
Some effort is needed to obtain silver. If you can't devote 1-2 hours fighting then...umm..post your heart out. lol~
I'm not typing this out in any aggressive nature either, so please do not attack me for what I'm saying..

| You're still level 1, so you may not know it yet, but you gain a stat of your choice every time you level up. I don't honestly know anybody who uses trains the skills.

| The main problem I see is that when i was still low level and got killed, had no weapons left, and no currency, it took me weeks to get straightened back up... Also, I don't have the attention span to spend 15 minutes in the battle system, let alone an hour...

| Well they solved that with a few weapons, Volleyball and Tenro..
Pretty cheap and does well against early monsters.
Well...that's just how it works...I can't say anything without sounding mean but if you don't spend time working on it you don't get anything.

| Chu thank you for telling me what copper is & how to get it. I fint that the main FAQ should include this information in it, just my preference but if I get confused its the first place I look, most likely because if I fix something in my computer Im more likely to google it or ask a tech before I click the 'help' button because it never helps me any lol.
Would like to just note my damage with the spartian sword (which was a donated item to me by a nice user because I think gaining silver here id very slow givin the traffic etc.) took about seven damage each time. Also I suggest a tutorial for the first level so it can walk you through the steps of how to play if its some how possible? I have always thought this about video games, level one is always 'get to know your game' so you basiclly can not die until level two. I agree no Imps untill level six because thats when the difficulty level should change from easy to normal then again at level twelve to hard & so forth.
Branny not everyone has the silver to be able to max out in a few days or the understanding it takes to do it, I personally dont sit the entier day battleing because honestly if you want to look at it for what it is, its button mashing which gets old. I find silver hard to get like I said but probably because my main income on avatar sites if from posting rather than games which is slow going at this time. I think the amount of silver I have obtained from battles so far is fair the way it is I just cant sit very long doing it. Also Id like to not e I have dialup so battleing is very slow for me I think the most I made was about two hundred silver in about a half hour.
I wouldnt mind spending the silver to even out my status because I prefer to keep mine as even as I can, its just how I play, I do it in video games, but right now it costs insainely too much & I have an avatar Im questing which on my aganda comes first of course thats just my prefernce again becase Im more of a poster.
The foraging is too high granted Im not asking for it to be too cheap but something at least better than it is now is all Im looking for, at this point I havent played long enough to know if it will be of use to me or not, Id rather just buy a new weapon. Eternalnox was the same way. Lol Im not attacking you at all Branny I like the fact there are people posting here. ^_^
Weaseldale I will make note of that when I hit level twwo. Thanks.
neomattlac I understand you totally, situations like that inspire me to research the system. It should be fun, not irritating, but it should also be a chalenge too, but not insane either.

| I think it fits fine. o-0 If a user has a question, they should seek "help" haha.
A type of tutorial will soon be in the works via quests. :3

| Well earning silver and levels becomes tricky if you have a slow connection and a low attention span.. x.x
The best time to play is during events which is usually when new items are released and items can be earned from drops. <3
