4fags cyber war

Anyone else hear of the 4chan sites cyber war against North Korea? Apparently it just started. The 4chan sites (aka 4fags, fagchans ect) have declaimed a DDOS against North Korea for attacking them.

For the love of Jebus, talk about being majorly butthurt over a crappy site. o_O

Anyway, my favorite site has been experiencing downtime cause of it (I beleive.) Poor twitter.. ;_; Google was giving me a hard time too. And when I logged into Mido just a sec ago, it was going at snail speed.

Anyone else experiencing technical difficulties with the web?

Edit: Roughly 20 mins later the gayness dissipated. I'm assuming the attack is finished, since one of the target sites went down as far as I know. The attack was around 6pm EST and lasted roughly 20 mins. So between 6:00pm and 6:30 pm EST did anyone else have any problems with random websites?

I know a few people did, besides me. =w=;

4Chan, 888Chan and some other Chan site - they were all attacked by a North Korean server (as far as I know) Called "Anontalk" and some North Korean sites. For like.. 4 days, 4chan was down or some crap so they declared war against the attacking sites.

With an onslaught of "loyal users" they DDOS attacked the sites, they all congregated in an IRC chatroom.

If you need a more in depth explanation, look it up yourself. Cause that's all I've gathered.

Yeah, 4chan seems to get butthurt easily, so another friend has told me.
I have never set foot on any of the Chan sites, except for viewing images my friends send me for whatever reasons. Never have and never will. Just their bull pissed me off when it happened. ;; My interwebs just.. broke.. and it was all their fault u.u

Also, I frequent 4chan and although I'm not insulted that all of you hate a website, in the future I'd avoid generalizing about its VISITORS like that /b/ is not the whole site.

It wasn't just /b/ actually. The person who was relaying me most of the information mainly stayed in /a/ or whatever it is as well as some other part of that shit-tastic site, as well as /b/.

You don't see me taking revenge on 4fags just because I couldn't enjoy the thing I'm currently obsessing over. I was just mildly annoyed cause it's bad enough that I have shit internet that goes out for hours on end when it's storming. & if the rest of the US is anything like Florida - we've been getting hit with a lot of storms. I have NOTHING to do outside my room besides go to the bathroom and eat. Maybe, on some string of luck, I'll be able to see my one friend or my boyfriend for a few hours. Then back to the same routine.

But, I'm entitled to my opinion - no one can make me state otherwise. X3 It's more then immature for them to have revenge. I'm a hypocrite, though, because I'm a very vindictive person IN REAL LIFE but seriously. It's the internet, get over it. Let it happen and move on, don't give the person or people doing shit get the satisfaction of knowing their immature taunts are working.

The main aspect of this thread was to see if anyone else had been effected by their immature cyber war.

I don't think I was on when this happened, but sometimes my internet just goes slow for no reason, so I may have been and thought nothing of it.

I can't help it, I'm a sucker for things this this. I also have much love for caturday. <3 Cat macros are like my greatest weakness. xD The whole thing with gaia and the longcat amused me to no end, I was so happy to be actually on the site when it was going down. Did NOT care for the gore spam in the forums but it was easy enough to catch and avoid before you saw too much.
