i've found that the larger and more menacing the opponenet,
the more likely my faithful stick is to break on the first round.

| if i recall correctly, it was a scorpion.
i'm going to have to assume it was a MASSIVE,
TERRIFYING, HEAVILY ARMORED scorpion.
otherwise there's no honor in faithful stick breaking
straight off.

| well, i keep trying to repair faithful stick, but it continues to break nonetheless. i have purchased a much more reliable weapon (butcher's knife, haha), but i keep faithful stick around, just in case. :'D
