| So I'm not sure how many people here like to cook but sharing recipes for delicious food is always a great thing. So here is a new recipes I tried today along with some information at the bottom of it. The recipes is taken from allrecipes.com and you can search it via the title of the recipe too.
Simple Whole Wheat Bread
Ingredients
3 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
2 (.25 ounce) packages active dry yeast
1/3 cup honey
5 cups bread flour
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/3 cup honey
1 tablespoon salt
3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
1.In a large bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and 1/3 cup honey. Add 5 cups white bread flour, and stir to combine. Let set for 30 minutes, or until big and bubbly.
2.Mix in 3 tablespoons melted butter, 1/3 cup honey, and salt. Stir in 2 cups whole wheat flour. Flour a flat surface and knead with whole wheat flour until not real sticky - just pulling away from the counter, but still sticky to touch. This may take an additional 2 to 4 cups of whole wheat flour. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to coat the surface of the dough. Cover with a dishtowel. Let rise in a warm place until doubled.
3.Punch down, and divide into 3 loaves. Place in greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pans, and allow to rise until dough has topped the pans by one inch.
4.Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 to 30 minutes; do not overbake. Lightly brush the tops of loaves with 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine when done to prevent crust from getting hard. Cool completely.
What I did.
Ingredients:
Almost the same but I didn’t use bread flour and I only used 3 cups white and the rest was wheat since I ran out of white. D:
1. Large bowl, warm water, yeast, 1/3 honey; let proof for 5 minutes. Add the flour (Didn’t have bread flour so all purpose unbleached white did the trick) stir and let sit. Mine sat for almost an hour.
2. Mix in 3 tbsp melted butter, more honey (1/3 again), salt. When it came to adding the two cups of wheat flour I couldn’t stir so I essentially kneaded it in the bowl until everything was well blended. Than I kneaded until my forearms hurts, it’s a rather soft dough so probably around 5 minutes or you can just go by what the original recipe states. I also greased the bowl with Extra Virgin Olive Oil prior to kneading, normally about 2 tablespoons will do. Put the dough in the bowl flip once to cover and let rise. I didn’t use a dishtowel since I don’t have any big enough. This took about 2 hours for me.
3. Punch down and divide. Buttered the pans, and I only allowed them to rise for 30 minutes. Oh I also only have 2 loaf pans but no worries.
4. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Now, if you’re like me and don’t have enough pans just pull the loaves out and place on a wire cooling rack and let the pans sit until cool enough to use, normally about 15 minutes once the bread is out. Also if you’re like me 3 loaves is more than enough for probably a couple of months, so go a head and butter the tops like in the original recipe, and let cool completely. After they are very cool, a few hours, wrap the extra loaves in aluminum foil and place into a freezer baggie. Put in the freezer and tada! You have extra loaves that all you have to do is reheat when you need them.
Note: This is the first time I’ve made this particular recipe, the bread is very yummy (even though I used nasty tasting honey), and everyone that previously reviewed the recipe states that the loaves freeze very well.
The honey I used is wild bee honey along with some regular bee honey. The loaves smell like the wild honey (which the brand I purchased is nasty and icky so I don’t use it) but it tastes like the better honey. So it doesn’t matter the type of honey that you use.

| You should put recipes that you didn't make inside quote boxes. ^^
I don't follow recipes very often; I mainly learn/teach them verbally.

| Oh oh oh! I have one! I made this up by myself. I figured out how they made it in restaraunts and voila!
Awesomesauce Creamcheese Fruit Dip
What you'll Need -
1 block of Philedelphia Cream Cheese
3 heaping tablespoons of Marshmallow Creame
1 large mixing bowl
Chopstick or a Small spoon
Directions:
Unwrap the cream cheese block and cut it in half, put one half into the mixing bowl. Take one large heaping tablespoon of the marshmallow cream and put it ontop of the cream cheese. Note, cream cheese is extremely hard to mix with any kind of beater, don't use it, trust me, you'll thank me for this.
Take the spoon and start mixing it a little bit. It's best if used with a chopstick to get the marshmallow cream all in it. After you've mixed it, put in the other half of the cream cheese block, and another heaping tablespoon of marshmallow cream into it. Stir it until it looks like it's pretty much mixed up as much as you can get it.
Now, turn to your microwave and place it in for no more than about 15-30 seconds. All microwaves differ, so just do it until you see the edges of the creamcheese start to bubble a little bit on the sides. Take it out and start stirring it with the spoon you originally mixed with. It'll be hot, so be careful!
Okay, give it a test, do you like the taste? Well, if you think it needs to be sweeter, then go ahead and put that last heaping tablespoon in. Stir it, it should still be hot enough to melt the marshmallow cream, if not, nuke it another five seconds at most. Stir it and test. Add more if you see fit. Now it's a nice creamy texture, right?
Well, you don't want it hot on your fruit, right? So stick that bowl in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour. It's up to you how cold you want it. But with a hot bowl, it might be best to do it for an hour. I let mine sit about two hours (mainly because I forgot about it).
And get any fruit or chocolate of your chosing! Voila! Also, this makes for a great creamcheese icing, as well. ;D

| Apple pie popcorn!
My recipes are all done to taste so I don't really have any specific amounts. xD
Ingredients:
Cinnamon
Sugar (optional if you don't like it too sweet)
Melted butter
Seasoning salt (just a tiny bit)
Apple pie spice
Nutmeg
Putting it together is pretty straightforward; after you're finished cooking the popcorn, pour on the butter first and then shake on everything else. It's delicious

| Ren - about how much would you need of each thing? I don't make popcorn by hand usually, but this sounds pretty good.
Like, do you just eyeball it or how do you do it? I like sweetstuff.
Or insanely buttery stuff MUWAHAH. *shot*

I should put that recipe up, actually. I'm just too lazy...
Oh, or my mother's potato salad...
Or even the fettucini alfreado recipe! AFF. TOO MANY TO TYPE BY HAND. *flail*

| Fettucini alfredo? Do tell. 8D
Oh yeah, I just remembered another one! This is actually from a restaurant that my parents used to go to. My mom tweaked the recipe slightly, but it's AMAZING. This is her version:
Spanish Chocolate
1 lb. semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup butter, melted
1.5 cup sugar
1/4 cup coffee
1/4 cup rum
6 eggs, separated
Melt chocolate in microwave safe bowl (I do it on high 1-2 min), add butter, coffee, rum, sugar, and egg yolks. Whip egg whites to form soft peaks and fold into chocolate mixture. Cook in 10 x 15 in. Pyrex dish in oven over water bath for 35 min. at 350 degrees.

| Uhh . . . I have a salad recipe here for you xD It's pretty healthy, I'd say. (Feet-warmer kitty FTW! My cats never stay still for that long.)
California Salad
Mixed red and green leaf lettuce, chopped
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
1/4 cup bacon bits
1/2 cup chicken, chopped
1/2 avocado, cubed
Mix it all together and there you go. 8'D Tastes even better with some lemon juice and season salt lightly sprinkled on top.

| omg that sounds so good. D:
I need to snag some of my mother's recipes when I go to her house again.
She has all of them written down. I'll type them up and share with the world. She always hunts down recipes they use in restaraunts and makes her own from them.
's how I came up with my fruit dip.

| This one is my adaptation of my boss' smothered potatoes [I think that's what he calls it].
I never measure when I'm cooking stuff like this. I just chop up the stuff, toss it in and add seasonings to taste. Leaves me with left overs a lot.
Ingredients:
1 to 2 potatoes [any kind but I prefer the kind for baking]
1 smallish onion
1 bell pepper, or 3-4 of those peppers that are about 1/3 the size of a bell pepper and sorta sweet.
1 to 2 celery stalks [or rib if you prefer]
1 pound ground beef or 5 raw chicken eggs or a package of raw bacon
Seasonings:
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
If using beef I'll add hamburger seasoning
What ever else is the the pantry I think will go good [usually along the lines of adding spicy hotnes]
-I start by chopping all the veggie things and putting them in a bowl. I keep the potatoes separate though. I try and keep them bite sized.
-Next I'll brown the ground beef or cook the bacon.
-When the meat is done I'll drain off most of the grease then toss in the potatoes. I'll cook those until they are almost done, then toss in the rest of the veggies and add seasonings. Then I simply cook it until the potatoes are tender.
-If I'm using eggs I'll cook the potatoes and veggies first, then toss in the scrambled, but still raw, eggs and cook it sorta like an omelet.
Other things you could add or substitute:
-Sausage, hot links, hot dogs to substitute the meat, or all of it in smaller amounts.
-Carrots, corn, green beans, peas, broccoli, cauliflower, squash*, baby brussels sprouts, asparagus heads*
*Indicates I haven't tried it, but want to because I think it'd taste great.

| I'm actually someone who doesn't really care for onions, peppers, or celery, but that does sound pretty damn good even for that.
I'd probably change it, though.
Need to write up the recipe for the Mexican Chinese Fried Rice.
As crazy as it sounds, it was made my a Mexican to imitate Chinese Fried Rice but actually tastes a lot better.
I guess cuz it's TOTALLY NOT VEGAN IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. xD

| I have a pretty good recipe that me and my boyfriend made. We added our own stuff to make it better and yum yum too.
We had some rice and some chicken breasts and so we put some rice and some water into an oven safe pan. Then we mixed it. Then added some cream of chicken, it doesn't have to be it could be potato or mushroom whatever you like best. Then we added 2 cups of frozen mixed vegetables. You can use what ever you like best. Then we put the chicken over the top. Then put some shredded cheese on top with some pepper and some garlic powder. We then cooked it in the oven at 375 for and hour.
It was yum yum. I am thinking of warming it up right now and having some because I am hungry and it is almost two and I havent eaten lunch yet. hmmmmm...i wonder what my boyfriend is doing. I think he is sleeping.
