yup and the feb7 I think is the next prerelease down here it's $25 but its worth it seeing I get 2 extra booster packs and special pokemon sleeves for the cards (sleeves are expensive and they only come in pack of 40 or 100), and my league does a drawing for left over prizes and such

I used to be anti-Pokemon, then I became a Pokemon nerd, then I got tired of it, and now I'm back on a Pokemon kick. Don't know why I ever stopped loving it!
I'm an Eeveelution freak. I love Eevee, Vaporeon, Falreon, Jolteon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon (I totally made that one up before it became cannon!!), and Glaceon. Awesome!!! *sqwee!!*
Old school favorite = Jolteon
New school (?) favorite = Glaceon
I have most of the old-school games (red/yellow, crystal, emerald, leaf green : my brother has blue, gold, ruby/sapphire, fire red, and one of the DS games, but I foret which) My favorite is probably Emerald, though Crytal comes close. Diamond and Pearl are amazing, though. *can't afford DS/games*

I love the eevee evolution line too, I found that glaceon was uneeded really since vaporeon can do ice. I'm makeing an all eevee team on my diamond version.

I don't like Vaporeon very much, though. (Besides, I prefer ice over water, anywho.) Vaporeon is probably my least favorite of the Eeveelutions. *shrug*
This matter really is up to personal opinion, I suppose. ^_^

well I dislike flareon, anyways doesn't matter vaporeon has some of the best stats...meh Ice and water are like the same to me, every fight a stat trained laparas? those things are a pain

I've had to fight my brother's. It was a pain to kill. I think I wound up having to use one of the glitch Charizards from Red/Blue to beat it before I got my level 100 Alakasam.
Flareon looks kind of odd. Too.... puffy. X3

glitch would that be missingN0? Mine all evolved into kangaskahn, and then I ran into lv 300 snorlaxes as well on one version...

On our Red we would run into lvl 252 Charizards and Wartortles that would revert to lvl 100 after it gained experience (which is why I usually only used them in link battles). YOu can control which Pokemon you run into using the MissingNo. glitch. I pretty much filled up my PokeDex on that game using it. MissingNo. was fun, though, if you didn't let it evolve. What was fun, of course, was having a flying Kangaskahn. It was like having a surfing Pikachu, but not quite. X3
We had a lot of fun with that. We'd multiply the master ball and nuggets and protein/carbos/etc. and have monster teams. That's about the only reason we use Red/Blue. That, and getting Master Balls into later versions. o3o

meh, my friend ran into professor oaks but he'd use gameshark and the missN0 cheat on the same game so the whole thing was pretty much messed up.
I loved watching my snorlax fly in the N64 games
, speaking of which there was a special bounus with one of them to get a surfing pikachu :/ it didn't work...bumed me out till I found out my charizard Knew surf some how then it was teh awesome

isn't it in yellow you can make pikachu learn fly or surf?
I used to use the missing no glitch on rare candies until I found out that it screwed up your stats, then I pretty much used it on masterballs ans the stats ups.


Did any of you ever use the cloning cheat?

yeah I think I used both at one time, though I can't rember the one where you use the poke boxes...only remember the trading glitch

You had to be really careful with the trading one, my brother and me reset my game once trying to clone his newly restarted game and charmander

I cloned a LOT in Crystal. That's he main way I got my masterballs. I also cloned my Eevee before I evolved it into the five different types. I never tried the trading glitch, though, because it seemed rather stupid and had too much of a risk factor, in my opinion. The worst I ever did with the box glitch was forget to save before doing it and then turning the game off too soon.
I only use rare candies if I also have lots of stat boosters to help. Though I prefer leveling up my Pokemon by... hand. I don't know how long it took to get my first level 100. I was thrilled, though. In Crystal, I can get through the Elite Four and only get hit once. (Darn Ghost type takes two attack from my Alakasam before it dies.) I only have one Pokemon left to get before I complete that Pokedex, but I'm waiting on my brother to get it since it's not in Crystal. *darn!*
