| I wish I could tag along with some kids going trick or treating, but there are no more kids in my family now and I don't know any of the kids in the neighborhood that need a chaperon. Oh well. At least I can see cute kids in cute costumes. I'm weak to cute things.
...But what to give out? We can't afford candy x-o

| Yes, I'm totally the same. I just can't wait to see all the adorable kids in their cute costumes.
Umm maybe you could make some origami Halloween stuff and hand that out? Or maybe you could make some rice crispy treats and cut out Halloween things like pumpkins and bats. Lol I don't really know.

| The avengers thor. xD I went as him last year, but have since cut off my hair. Which is why we were going with peeta.
School, yard sale, and a bunch of stuff in between to keep me extra busy. Hopefully the bulk of the busyness is over now.
Maybe make origami toys to give out? I dunno.
I typed that out before reading your response, Butterscotch.

| I wish I knew of a Halloween event that I could wear a costume too. Unfortunately I tend to be very shy around people, so I just stay at home and watch scary movies.

| Don't worry, Catghost, great minds think alike, right?
Well I'm sure you'll look great and have fun either way. Lol, yes, let's hope so. I like to keep myself busy to a point, but sometimes it gets a little overwhelming so I understand.
Oh, Pipla! The only reason you need to wear a costume is that it's Halloween! But if you don't go anywhere it could still be fun to wear a costume while watching scary movies. .gif)

| I suppose.
And yes! Sit around in a costume and watch movies and be awesome. I've done it before.
Do you know of anywhere that's doing trunk or treating? Normally churches or grocery stores, and you could volunteer to help. Seems like you'd wear a costume for that?

| Mock, that is totally adorable and funny. It was exactly what I was thinking when I read it.
If you watch a movie while wearing a costume I'll totally be willing to join you! I don't think I've actually done that yet but I am totally going to do it this year for sure.
Also, I remember earlier this year I dressed up in a steampunk fairy costume and had a picnic in a nearby cemetery. It was really fun!

| Yeah it is. I love elephants, they're really fun to watch when they play.
Oh, that sounds scary... I don't really like clowns. I remember the first time I saw one I was probably about 5 too. I was going into a giant tent at this fair and the clown jumped out at the entrance. All he was doing was smiling and forcing that creepy laugh and I was bawling. My mom never took us again.
My best costume was my fairy fair costume that I occasionally wear for Halloween. It's a steampunk fairy outfit and I love it. .gif)

| I saw an adorable image of an elephant just now. Mock, I love it. :3
My best costume....was uh...-thinks- I made a cute fairy as a kid. My dad played a medical patient and I was supposed to be his guardian fairy/angel thing o.o; But I also liked my doctor costume I used one year by stealing a bunch of my dad's stuff....
Only actual costumes I've worn that weren't super haphazard where when I went as a fairy as a little kid and when I went as a jitterbug as an older little kid o.o; Normally my costumes are simple and random. A few years ago I just said yes to whatever people said I was each time xD
Butterscotch: What's a steampunk fairy look like? o3o

Remind me never to smile if I meet you in person. I have a grin that would make the Joker nervous.

| Mock, I'm sure your smile wouldn't scare me. The smile only freaks me out because of the make up. As long as you don't put on any type of clown looking make up I'll be fine.
Aww, I wish I had pictures of my outfit so I could show you! Technically steampunk is a style created from a science fiction realm with a mix of the Victorian era, "wild west", and post-apocalyptic world that is taken over by steam-powered machinery. Usually lots of wires, cogs, or old fashioned clothes is involved in the steampunk style.
Well I had a black, lacy corset top with gold chains dangling on the front, there were random charms all along the chain! Underneath the corset top I wore a white button up shirt that had golden cuffs, a tan skirt with a layering of mosquito netting on top, a black belt with charms glued along it, a small gold frame for the belt buckle with a picture of a leopard inside it, and a small top hat with charms and lace glued all over it. Also a small lizard toy was velcroed to the very top of the hat.
My wings were just tiny wires bent into swirls to look like butterfly wings.

| omg, thats not funny at all. sounds like an unfun experience. i dont know how clowns are suppose to be funny, the one that scared you did an awful job. maybe it's suppose to be funny cos they suck at telling jokes... it's more like a fart in a restaurant that everyones trying to pretend not to notice but it was really just a ketchup bottle, then everyone is relieved when they hear the sound again and spot the plastic culprit. yeah, he was a ketchup bottle clown.
i wasnt scary, thank goodness because i was only 5 xD i was suppose to be a cute 5 year old clown. i dont remember if i was wearing makeup. idk what my mom was thinking! i dont think she was. maybe it's a good thing it was the only costume she bought me. :P
wow a steampunk fairy, that sounds unique and pretty.
im curious to know what mocks grin looks like o.o
