Classical music is really nice. I used to listen to it while I studied, but I got to know the music to well and started analyzing or memorizing it, which would distract me. XDD They say that the best music to study to is music that you're not familiar with. (As long as it isn't distracting by nature.)

And I see. I hope these two months pass quickly for you, then. The end result is always much better than the long road there.

Ahh, I think a lot of people are coming from Pokefarm. Good to know!

Why yes I am, June~! I've played flute for almost 9 years, piccolo for almost 3, Irish tin whistle for about 2, am teaching myself piano, and was in the pit (Percussion, mostly on timpani) for competition marching band for two years. Would have been my third year, but I got sick right in time for band camp, so that wound up not happening. >.< They put me into a management position, though, so I still get to tag along to comps and away games and all that.

Ah, I have the same problem, Chu. I can't listen to stuff I know, otherwise I start singing along and stuff and get distracted. I have to find new stuff all the time.
Thanks~ I should be wrapping up treatment toward the end of November, but that's only the tentative time. Depending on how things go, we might be looking at more treatment after that, or a different kind of treatment. -_- Things seem to be going well for now, though.

Well, here's to hoping that things continue to go smoothly for you! The projected end date is around thanksgiving. Either way things go, you'll be able to stuff yourself into contentment. :P

Yup! Most of the time I feel okay, but I keep getting hot flashes and feeling freezing, or I'll get really light-headed and have to lay down or else I'll pass out. And the headaches are always really bad after I get chemo. >.< Luckily it's only once a week. Every Tuesday.

Ahh, I can only imagine that they would be. Is there much that you can do for them?

Wow, you have a lot of musical background! We should hang out and play a bunch together <3

Also...I'd normally try not to jump in on such a discussion, but I read the word chemo. Glad to hear you'll be off it in two months hopefully, but sorry to hear you have to use it! My dad's on chemotherapy medication as well for an autoimmune disease, and the side effects can be really troublesome.

...I have all the side effects you mentioned without being on chemo though. Human bodies are weird. x-o

Anyway, feel better and let Midorea help you feel good a whole lot too! o3o

Well, caffeine seems to help the headaches sometimes, but it's a bit hit-or-miss so far. The nausea doesn't bother me too much, since I've been put on two different nausea medications (One's every day, the other's as-needed) but the headaches...It's like 'Okay, let me go curl up in the dark, in silence now. Leave me be.'

Totally should, June~! I actually was at a friend's house today, working with a group of 5 of us one some pieces we're doing for the school's Variety Show. So much fun...The main piece is called VG Party. The girl whose house we were at arranged the entire thing (There's 9 of us total, I think, but some couldn't make it, or didn't have to be there today) and it's like, almost 6 minutes of music from video games. Pac-Man, Tetris, Shadows of the Colossus, ICO, a bit of LoZ (Last year we did a full LoZ tribute, so not much from that this year), Darkstalkers, Chun-Li's Theme, Spyro, and we end with the Mario Flag Theme, just to name some of the pieces in it.

Ah, don't worry about jumping into the conversation! I'll gladly talk to anyone and everyone~! XD Yeah, I've got all kinds of fun side effects from meds and the chemo and just ugh...And what I've got is an autoimmune disease as well...A rare one, at that.

Actually, I just wrote a whole crapton in the Storybook subforum about what I've got. I just kind of started a thought-purge board for myself there, and I'll be writing in it every so often, and today happened to be the day that I explained my freaky rare disease, if you want to go read about it!

Heh, I get migraines from time to time. Just lock me in a dark quiet room and let me sleep.

I'll take a look when I finish studying. ^^ I don't want you to feel like I'm putting you off though... I really do have to get through this, haha. Test tomorrow.

Read and found it not just easy to understand and interesting, but curious. As I told you before, my dad has an autoimmune disease as well. He's on biological injections and a bunch of methotrexate pills (chemo) because he's got psoriasis covering everything from at least half his skin to some of his joints. Because I live with him and have since his first flare up and all the crazy started, I personally feel horrible because it has the possibility for you to be aquired. I mean, that basically means it just happened out of nowhere, you know? My dad has something that normally has to be genetic, but he has no genes for it at all, and it's pretty freaky. While I'd rather your family didn't need testing of course...I still wish you A) didn't have it, and B) at least had a good reason for it coming out of the blue x-o

Also, sorry to hear it either way. I'll stop talking about this here, since this is more of a private thing, so...I shouldn't be bugging you here about it anyway xD Oops. I should go focus on something else. Preferably not this or my yearly thyroid test coming up x-o
