| So I bought potions & weapons & magic thingies, I equiped them (or "used") them in my inventory. First monster battle they all showed up in the drop downs, then when my next turn comes around they mysteriously poof disappear. O_o
I figured maybe it was just a glitch or something, so I beat that moster and went on to the next...same thing. D; </3
I know they didn't run out, because I just bought them.
So I don't get it.

| Magic items (except for magical weapons) are one-use items at the moment, and you don't "Use" them in your inventory. Just in battle.
I've been wanting to do something about magic items for a while now. Just adding more advanced spells and such, with multiple uses.

| As Chu said, you don't need to use/equip anything before battling. At least not in your inventory. You can equip armor and similar items just before your battle.
If you check your inventory, you'll see that, under each item, there's a little fraction thingy (x/y). That's the number of time you can use an item (in battle, as Chu said), or almost. See, since some weapons are pretty expensive and/or rare, the system's been programmed to automatically take out everything with only one duration left, so it doesn't "break" (disappear from your inventory). So, items like spells or potions, that have 2 duration points, are only usable once. After that, they should still show up in your inventory, but there's nothing to do with them (weapons can be repaired though).
Armors and anything else you can equip prior to battle (like, on the screen just before entering a battle) don't work that way though, if I remember correctly, so they will "break" if you use them too much.

| I Kindave wondered why the potions never broke though seeing as they are not able to be placed on the avatar in anyway that I can tell.

| Thing was though a bought MULTIPLE of each, so I know I didn't use them all up. I still have long rows of them sitting in my inventory, and I only had the chance to use 1 before they all disapeared out of the dropdown options in the middle of a battle. I just figured since they weren't showing up anymore that I had to go to my inventory and "use" them. Apparently not, but the situation is quite confusing. xD
Edit: I bought 4 fresh, unused, sets of flying daggers just like 5 minutes ago. I figured buying some new weapons or magic items would refresh the rest. I went to go fight the party monster, still not showing up. Are mod's able to go in and check my inventory & battle with party monster and see what's wrong? :o
