Skills: It's been a terribly long time since I have roleplayed so rusty is how I would describe my skills. In the past I have mostly been in literate to advanced literate roleplays and a few semi-literate ones to throw around ideas.
Interests: I play League of Legends, but I don't spend my whole time with it (thank goodness!). I'm a rabid reader and I'm trying to put my hand into politics such as Howard Zinn, Karl Marx, and Lenin, to name a few... Most of my readings consist of trilogies such as The Dark Angel trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce (and more of her other books), The Book of Codex Alera by Jim Butcher, Garth Nix books and did I mention His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman? A lot of these books are from my childhood and I would definitely reread them if I have time.
My Games: No games as of yet! Maybe I'll update this area when I get into games. (Though I would love to play Road of Fate, it has a great plot!)
My Characters: My characters are all long gone. /sadface

Interests: I've enjoyed watching games in the past more than playing. Mostly, I like fantasy type things, and some science fiction. Books are the same way: fantasy galore. Harry Potter, LotR, and the Black Library collection in the Warhammer world. Yea, gimme morally ambiguous characters!

Skills: I like to think of myself as a decent enough roleplayer, even though I have a bad habit of forgetting about my roleplays for a while and then coming back in and having no idea what's going on... Also, I'm terrible at coming up with plots.
Interests: Midorea-centered roleplays would be cool. I like things with good, meaty plots to them. None of this "everyone's just hanging out in an inn" stuff. It works for some, but I can barely start a conversation in real life, let alone in a forum with a bunch of people I don't know, in-character or out of.

As for other things, I like comics, video games, roleplaying, the internet, reading, writing... I'm very bad at describing myself. ^__^;;
My Games: None at the moment, though I've been toying with an idea for a story... Too lazy to run my own thread, though.

Finally got the nerve to post in this thread XD I have been stalking looked at this thread. Well, I hope no one minds that another person is joining ^^

Name and/or nickname(s): My real name is Julia. Don't call me that. Call me Juria, Altan, Kaito, Kohaku, Matthias, Thanos, Yuuna, Reiki, Reila, or anything else that pops in your head. And no, I do not care that half of the names listed are guy names. Or that I share them with my OCs.
Age: 13. But everyone(Well, my friends, at least. And various teachers who commented on my odd speech patterns) tells me I have a habit of acting like I'm either 7 or 50. So, yeah. Age doesn't really apply to me that much.
Sex: Physically? Female. Mentally? Male.
Race: White. I wish I was Asian. And if you want to know where I'm from, I'm German.
Skills: When I'm in a good mood, have fun reading through novels that can easily get anywhere between 500 and 2000 words long. When I'm in a bad mood, or just really tired, I usually type anywhere between 4 sentences to three paragraphs. I am a grammar-Nazi(as my friends say whenever I correct them on even the slightest grammatical mistakes), so, my posts generally have flawless spelling and grammar. That said, English is not my first language, so I sometimes mess up on grammar or spelling(Commas are incredibly annoying, and also the way sentences are organized, since German sentence structure and English sentence structure are rather different. Don't be surprised if my character says 'I have thirst' instead of 'I am thirsty', or something similar). Also, half time time, I am online on my iPod. My iPod has a very nice habit of 'correcting' my spelling, so, if you see a typo ridden post, chances are, I'm on my iPod, so just yell at me and tell me to correct my post, please. I'm semi-fluent in English and German, German being my first language, and I'm sad to say, I still make mistakes with both languages. I'm not fully fluent in any language(Poor me XD). Oh, and I understand a couple words of various languages, so, more often than not, my characters do say one or two things in a different language, although you can generally tell what they are saying. Oh, and if we can roleplay in different languages, I would love to be able to be in at least one German roleplay, because I severely need to work on my grammar and spelling.
Interests: I love any roleplay with a well thought out plot, and I tend to shy away from roleplays that don't seem to have any goal. Also, I do not roleplay heterosexual couples, I will almost always roleplay either M/M couples or F/F couples, if romance fits into the roleplay. I love anything fantasy, especially elves. I absolutely adore elves. Elves are epic. I am not obsessed with elves. Oh, and, just as a side note, I don't roleplay animals. I just stick to my lovely humanoids. Dragons are an exception, but usually, when I roleplay dragons, I'm accustomed to them having a human form. Oh, by the way, you have a very happy Icewing if you post a Doctor Who/Torchwood roleplay and let her join it XD
My Games: I'm not a part of any roleplays right now, but I did start one recently. It's called Emotionless Lives. If you're bored, feel free to check it out and possibly join ^^
My Characters: I have a lot of characters. Too many XD. Only one of them is currently a Midorea character, his name is Yuuna, and his sign up form is in the RP that the link above leads to. He's my third favourite character. Then I also have Altan, she was my first OC, and she and I are currently in a love/hate relationship. And, I totally don't have mental arguments with her. Well, maybe I do. But that is irrelevant
Altan is a half-Quetzalcoatl, half-Elf character, and she has the appearance of an Aztec. She is tall, 5'11", to be precise, has waist length black hair, slightly pointed ears, and green eyes. She's very thin, and rather muscular. She also has a Quetzalcoatl form, and in that form, is a dark green Quetzalcoatl dragon whose feathers have some blue flecks. She has an immature, childish personality, but is really loyal and brave, although slightly stupid. Her motto is 'It's just a scratch'(Coming from her clumsiness. She's been stabbed, broken her wrists, sprained her ankles, and fallen out of a tree. And that's only when she was learning how to spar). Oh, and did I mention, Altan has major mood swings, and will go from happy-go-lucky to incredibly depressed? That only happened twice in an RP, though, and that was only when she thought her somewhat-boyfriend dumped herSometimes, I wonder why Sasori didn't tell her it was his sister, not a girlfriend >_<. But, currently, I'm only using Altan in one roleplay, although I am writing multiple stories with her as the main character. I still think she's annoyed at me for not using her in more RPs. So, if anyone has an RP that could use a slightly insane Aztec-Quetzalcoatl-Elf creature, just contact me XD
Then there's my second favourite character, Toshihiro. Toshihiro is also rather tall, standing at 6'3", and he is thin for a male, and very muscular. He has ear length black hair, cut in a typical 'scene' style, and it has bright blue streaks in it. He has dark brown almond shaped eyes, and is of Asian ethnicity. Toshihiro also happens to be a cross-dresser, and it's rare to see him not wearing a dress. He has a rather quiet, reserved personality, and can seem a bit cruel at times. He does get annoyed easily.
Well, hopefully those novels of character descriptions haven't made you want to stop reading XD I have about 10 other OCs that I also use in roleplays, but none of them(Other than Yuuna) have found their way over to Midorea yet.
Looking for: I would love to join any roleplays with a well thought out plot. Just as long as it's semi-literate to advanced literate, and there aren't thousands of one-liners. Also, I prefer smaller roleplays, so I probably won't be joining any roleplay with more than 5-15 characters. I would love to do a one on one roleplay, if anyone is willing ^^
My Plots: Currently, none yet. Of course, I have about ten ideas floating around in my head at any given moment, but I haven't the time to make any of those ideas into full plots, currently. I'm sure sooner or later, another roleplay created by me will pop up.

Word or ideas used: Purge
Setting: A post-apocalyptic city, in the throes of a power struggle. The current king had been a just man, caring for the two classes (lower and higher) but despite his efforts, resources are running out, and he is extremely reluctant to have anyone move out of the city. People from many sides were pushing to have the king replaced by a younger, more military man, who promised to help keep the city running on the resources it already had. It came to light that the young man’s true plan was to wipe out the lower class, while using science to ensure the survival of the human race. He was quickly shut down, but he still has followers. From prison, the man orchestrated a civil war, and the two sides have found themselves at a stalemate. However…a discovery was made outside the city, which could turn the tide of history forever.
Plot: The struggle between the current king and the newcomer revolves mostly around a discovery of something outside the wall of the city. The discovery is an item of extreme power that can either give almost unlimited energy to the entire city for decades to come or destroy the entire lower class. The two parties race to find, test, and use this item.
Level: Literate
Introduction: The human race has just weathered an enormous tragedy, leaving only a few million survivors, who have all congregated into a city. Peace was maintained for a generation, for those that remembered their friends falling the Plague held on to the few friends they had left. A new generation has come though, one with less camaraderie, and a young man is trying to upset the precarious balance in his favor. Decide who you will support: the people, or yourself, and under no circumstances, let yourself be caught.

The king leaned back, resting against his seat. He never asked for this. He never wanted to be in charge, but events sort of worked themselves out that way. He’d done well enough, considering the enormity of the task presented him, but this…this was too much. News of a possible savior had spread like wildfire through the city, despite his express orders that no one be told of it.
“Sire,” one of his hands said, “The team is ready. Should we send them out?” The king nodded once. He needed that source, as desperately as his opposition needed it. The king only trusted one man on the entire team: the rest could be with the Purger. Some of them undoubtedly were. No one knew anymore.
Rules:Cursing is fine, but in moderation. Romance is allowed, but nothing incredibly graphic, and the plot does not revolve around romance. Try for paragraph-long posts, at the least. It’s really not that difficult. Follow the usual Midorea rules. Killing is only allowed by the permission of the one you are going to kill, as well as my permission (I’ll probably say yes, I just want to know). Please don’t create characters just to kill them.
Information to players: Characters are only allowed outside the city under two conditions. One, they are part of a mission having to do with the discovery and two, they are sneaking out…which is stupid. No one knows if the plague still exists outside the city, so very few people sneak out, unless they support the Purger. No one is an open supporter of the Purger, however his followers have infiltrated all the levels in the city, so beware, because you never know who is listening. The technology of the world was mostly lost during the plague, so there is almost no electricity. Only the richest of the rich have the resources to generate electricity. Weapons are limited to anything simple. In other words, no guns. An upperclassman might have a sword, but a lowerclassman would have to resort to a bludgeon, or at best, a sharpened piece of metal. Almost all materials are scavenged from outside, so everything is sort of cobbled together. Most of the city runs on water power, as the city is perched on a large river.
