| Leez hadn't turned around, so she had no idea whether he was still watching or not. She was starting to get quite tired, and was looking at either side of the path for some place to camp.

| A grunt came from under the hat, a sound of pain or discomfort, and the hat-brim lifted. Rafael's face seemed as unconcerned as usual, save a pinched look at the corners of his mouth and a twinge of his left eye as he followed where Leez looked with a curious air.

"Of course, your beauty is so blinding it pained my eyes to look upon it. Truly, I have been blessed by fate to find myself in such a situation, neh?"
