[OoC] Steampunk Game!

I have been covetously following this RP since you first opened it up, biding my time until I could think of a character. Well, I gots one! Meet:

Name: Gemini Starstone; goes by Gem
Sex: female
Age: 17
Faction: Rebel under the guise of a Normal
Occupation: Sells herbs and medicines, midwifes, that sort of thing; also disguise and lockpick expert for the Rebellion

Description: Gem is slight, exactly 5' in height and very slim. She keeps her brown hair shorn roughly around her ears; this and her boyish figure and dress make her fairly androgynous. She has grey eyes and pale caramel-colored skin. She typically wears mid-calf work boots, a too-big duster, and well-used dark cotton shirts and pants. She favors a pageboy cap, and always carries a few of her best antidotes and poultices in small pouches attached to her belt. She's quick, agile, and very dexterous but due to her small size, makes no big show of strength.
Gem has a very quiet personality, tending toward reticence except in the presence of her younger brother Robin (now aged 10). Already world-weary at 17, she's difficult to get to know (a point in her favor in terms of her work with the rebellion), but she's actually very kind and idealistic, helping villagers in need with or without compensation. When circumstances require it, however, she shows off the fiery spark that makes her her father's daughter, forcing her will to be known. Her laughter is wry and a little sad, and some of the village folk say that they can see the endless dark reflected in her eyes.

Biography: Gemini was the daughter of a jewelsmith in a big city. Her mother died giving birth to her younger brother, and she, her brother and her father lived a happy life until he was put out of business by an enormous aristocrat-run jewel company. After that, all of her father's previous clients refused to associate with him and all of his "friends" turned away. Gemini's family quickly fell into poverty, and her father succumbed to disease soon after. That was four years ago. Gem quickly began to take interest in the Rebellion as a way to avenge her father's death and uphold her own morals. As she is small and nondescript, she can pass off as a much younger or slightly older person of either gender. She uses this to her advantage with the Rebellion, often going on undercover or observational missions. She takes care of her brother by working as an herbwoman and midwife in the town, and taking on odd jobs for both the Normals and the Rebellion.

Just a little note on time:

Feel free to move the game forward a bit when you post, but not by more than 6 hours at the time. Not too often, of course, so that the other players can still catch up and post what they have been doing (like, not more than once a day in total; i.e if the first poster of the day moves the time, no one else can do it for the day except me/ with my permission).

Small jumps (20-30 minutes) are tolerated though, since... well, your characters need to be able to do stuff.

Get my name right. Nuklearsamurai or Nuke. Nowhere in my name is a C so nuckles is not gonna cut it.

next off. Don't go callin' me out on shit if you're gonna have night time while the rest of us are havin breakfast, or for "missing" your post when I wasn't the first to respond to it.
