also, question cat - is the ndengei and this attire of it based on assyria/babylonia/sumeria/mesopotamia at all? cos some of the shapes and the gold serpents remind me of the art from that time/place. |

It's mainly based off the Mayans/Incas/Mesoamericans. (cause Ndengei is based of the quetzalcoatl)

lol i guess i just thought of mesopotamian stuffs cos ive been researching it for my character design project at university XD i seriously love the ndengei attire tho, its lovely. i think the only thing that irks me about it is that the wings dont match the ndengei itself ^^;
