Out of curiousity, is anyone here participating in NaNoWriMo this year?
In that case, what are you writing about?

I've always wanted to participate (well, always since I heard about it a few years ago), but meh, November's never a good month for me anyway, because of school and all. That and I kinda always forget it until... November orz

It's a kind of a writing challenge. The point is to write a 50 000 words long novel in one month, November. But, if you manage, there are no prizes other than satisfaction. And you can try and publish your novel.

I attempted to do NaNoWriMo once, but failed. I'm not a novelist. XD

I've already said this in the writing forum, but I will say it again here!

I would love to do NaNoWriMo, and I actually attempted at it twice. But the attempts didn't go over well. While it did help me develop a few characters, I barely got a tenth of the way finished on both of them. I'm still trying at the one that I started last year, but that would most likely not be 50k anyways because it's meant for kids.

But maybe one year when I am a more focused writer. Maybe then I'll attempt at it again.

Sounds really cool! ^^ [Might do it on my own, separately from the contest] Oh, gosh, now I really want to do it. XD I might later. ^^

Man. I wish that I had the time to be able to participate in that. I love to write, but I simply do not have the time. It's difficult for me to come up with something that I think sounds good on the fly. On top of that, when I'm working it's difficult to write anything at all. I do, however, work in a call center. It's possible for me to write between calls, but it would not be my best work at all.

November is a crazy month for me at school, but my winter break is a month long, so I'm doing NaNoWriBre. National Novel Writing Break!

I would love to do NaNoWriMo, but November is just a terrible time. School's in full swing and I'm already behind as it is (missed all of last week). I would go on to comment on how crazily long the challenge is, but I could probably do it if I planned ahead and focused... Well actually, I'm terrible at both of those so... yeah Sweat

I'll probably attempt a NoWriMo on my own some time so I'm a little more free with it.

h'okey. Turns out I didn't really have the time to write more than maybe twice a week. So...
Project forfeited.
Until next year...
