I'm still not sure of what role I'd like to play. I just... get more ideas when I have a setting to base my character on.

I'll try to fill that little plot form thingy later. Need to go study for stupid exam first...

Ah....So this is the forum I've been hearing about. Expect a profile from me very shortly once I get it together. -Cracks knuckles and gets to writing- I have some time to kill while I wait for these projects to dry up from all the paste, paint, and ink usage.

EDIT: I'll also make a note that if I do get accepted, be aware that I'm going for the "Hero" title...meaning I'll be the good guy.

Well I've been sorta sitting on ideas for a few days, so I'll throw out some stuff for you guys to chew on P=

What Era: 1)
Make everything look like it's from the 1700's or 1800's, so Older Asia, Older Russia, Older Europe, etc, BUT! Put the settings in modern day. So everyone dresses old fashioned, but with modern twists. So old fashioned things have an advanced technology twist. 8D Right? Right? Sounds cool no?
2)
Give it an early 1900's feel but really lean on the archeological events. I'm thinking of unleashing Hell on Earth. Demons, curses, the yummy stuff. But that's for the plot part.
3)
Modern Day~ You're classic daily settings, met with the unusual. Pretty simple era wise, you can have the unusual characters come from way back when, but the over all world will be a lot like today.

Plot Type: I sorta want to give this to the Good vs. Evil, but with a save the world edge. This could allow for even the neutral characters to choose sides in the end. But I want it's severity to slowly expand so no one sees it coming at first. Maybe lead the readers to see the beginning in a different direction. Something simple and friendly. Start it light then start pouring some heavy black ink all over it as you start to reveal the real plot.
Setting Preferences: I want the full spectrum of variety found on Earth. ESPECIALLY if we go with something like my first Era choice. Blizzard ridden Russia with a creaky old tavern where shady characters with undetermined alliances take shelter from the storm, the muddy fields of European farm lands, bleak and chilled, all the way out to the Asian rice fields, Hindu busy market places, maybe even the Air Ship bases of the American military. I wanna go EVERYWHERE 8DD.

Just some ideas, I love variety :3

Oh ho! I'll tell you right now that I like the first two ideas you mentioned, though leaning with the second one a bit more than the first. not too fond of modern day era, but will work around it if need be. ^^
The idea with hell beings coming forth would be amazing since Seitaro is a demon. Hehehe, his evilness shall know no bounds! XD
And now you have raised my excitement level...I been to India (since I'm Indian) so I know EXACTLY just what it is like there! mayhaps I will start out there...hmmm, whichever seems to flow, lol.

It'll take some research on everyone's part to do that sort of plot properly, but I think having the whole world involved would be AMAZING.
I kinda have this gate idea-- with the six gates of hell. It'd sorta have a "capture the flag" effect as there would have to be sacrificial "chosen ones" that the good would try to keep from getting taken by the badies who want to open the gates. I have this plot journal ya see >D> Heck maybe I should post all those ideas. o3o But what do you thin of that?? 8DD The first gate could be accidentally opened which could release your character and a couple other characters.

For a second I thought you meant the 9 circles of hell XD
Then I realized you said gates, lol. That actually sounds pretty interesting, and I think I can build from it. You said when the first gate releases, it kinda correlates into Christianities Hell. Why not make it so that when a peice of hell is opened, make it so that all Hell's are opened such as Shinto, Buddhism, Wicca, Hinduism, and Christianity? It would make the world fall under chaos with the amount of evil being released into the world. Since Sei resides in Japan's yokai realm, it kinda would be hard for him to get out from a realm he can't exist in XD
Also, I think I may play a younger Seitaro. 17-ish from the regular 21 ^^
(Though he is much older than you can imagine...put alot of time and effort into this character XDD)

Ooh yeah, that's an AMAZING idea. Maybe the gates aren't necessarily doors to "hell" but the Demon planes. In that case, there would be an undiscovered Gate that correlates to each religion in each area of the world. So the "native" demons would come from each of their own gates O:
Hmm, but then the characters would have to have a way to reseal each of the gates after they are opened.. but maybe the way they seal it is temporary and as each gate is opened the previously opened ones reopen and it's harder to close them all back up. o333o

That sounds like a GREAT idea! From the way this is being described, it sounds kinda like the movie "Pan's Labyrinth". Such a good movie...buuuuuut annnnnywaaaaay!!! Opening a gate opens a plane into the demon world making the world come closer. The more gates opened, the closer both worlds are to colliding and having high level threats come into the world. Hmm...another thing you can have a thought about is having gates that also open doorways to holy beings. Like being able to call down angels, deities, and holy spirits. ^^
Don't mind me about this, btw, lol. I love things dealing with religion =3
Another thought is that a setting that could be set in the past, but be advanced in technology. So like, feudalism, visigoth, victorian and the such, but having cell phones, guns and the such. just throwing it out there XDD

The child eater creaped me out sooo good. I adored that supernatural effect they gave by putting a table of fresh food in a room no one had moved in for what must have been centuries. So frakin' cool 83

Ooh yeah 8DD but I think the "Holy" side shouldn't be revealed till further in o33o That way we can give the readers that feeling of "oh.. well there's no hope, they're dead" then BAM! Divine intervention~ XD
Hmm, if the team likes this plot we'll have to avoid the actual head 'god' beings or make them ALL exist. It's a touchy subject after all. but I'm the same way XD Religious stuff is so nifty :]

Omg, I loved that part! Twas my favorite part in that movie. It was sooooo creepy, that it was what it made it soooo kwl! But yea, despite it being a touchy subject, it would be sorta interesting to see a true good vs. evil plot. I mean, you get every religions demons and their holy entities. Its like...666Satan meets Berserk! XDD

and nah, its from your amazing brain that i'm trying to build off of so we don't run out of ideas in this RP. From all the Rp's I've ever been in, people have lost interest and this is actually taking these ideas and stretching them to the max! I love it! ^^

But yea, I also wanna hear what other people shall post. I can't wait to hear there ideas! =3

Well you're doing a really god job And don't worry, I intend to have the whole thing set with basic tracing lines so no one gets lost or creatively blocked to the point of incapacitation. Plus There'll be those drawing periods when the team will pause for a while which will give everyone personal plotting time :]
