| I just came back from a vacation in London (It. Was. Awesome!) with my mum and my siblings.
On the day before we went back home, we went to a classy chinese restaurant. They had SO many strange things on th menu! Kangaroo, oysterich, oysters, FROG, the list goes on (nope, no dogs xP )
So... Now I know what kangaroo tastes like...
Sort of like bbq chicken, to be honest
So, guys... Tasted any strange foods?

| Unfortunately, the strangest thing I can say I've had is snapper soup. I'm not the most adventurous, food-wise. Mostly because I never had the chance. I love learning about them, though.
Although, some non-Pennsylvanians may consider Scrapple strange.

| The strangest I have ever had is a tradition in my family. That being said, though, there are going to be some people that know it. It's call Potatoe Candy, and it is awesome.
That is what is looks like.
There can't really be a recipe for something like this. There are things on the internet, but none of it matches the way my family makes it. You just have to estimate it. You take some potatoes, boil and mash them, mix in some powdered sugar, spread it out with a pin wheel like dough. As you spread it out you have to keep applying sugar or it will crack and be useless. Once that's done you spread peanut button on it, roll it up, let it cool for a while, and then cut it into slices like you see above.
Edit:
I do want to note that this stuff is so sweet it will rot your teeth just looking at it. But it is soooo could. There are Buckeyes to. Those are easier to make.
Here's a pretty good recipe for this.
1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar, sifted
1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 oz. paraffin
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Blend sugar, peanut butter, butter, salt and vanilla until smooth. Shape into 1 inch balls. Melt chocolate chips and paraffin in top of double boiler. Dip balls in chocolate mixture with toothpick until 3/4 covered. Place on waxed paper until set. Cover over hole until smooth. Makes 6 dozen.
And a picture.

| The strangest thing I've eaten is probably... snake. d:
At China I've tried so many different kinds of fish though. Not sure if they're stranger than snake. D:
