I'm currently new here and I'm not entirely sure how everything works here Duh

I need to gain some silver and what not so I'm not naked anymore XD

Simple and nice, I'd say between 250 and 500 silver.
Always depends of the complexity of the piece though, so it could vary. Wink

ashdfjk! I love the second one. 8D I have no idea what silver's worth on here, but I can say that it's sellable art >3
Are you able to have transparent backgrounds with the art program you use?

Oh. well, when you start making art in photoshop, make a new layer and keep the background, or default first layer, totally blank. When you're done drawing, hide the layer and save the image as you like. This'll make the background trasnparent :3
The art sometimes looks odd when you make the background transparent, but don't let that bother you at all. It'll look perfectly normal when you put it on a site.

You can preserve transparent backgrounds by saving your final image as a PNG (which generally has better image quality than JPG and GIF anyways). PNG's also preserve your original color sets better. If you don't mind me linking a couple of examples...

If you look at them, especially side-by-side, you see a much better color quality in the PNG. Of course, the file size is larger as well.
