theyre still really unique now, i think! whens the last time you saw a game come out that uses other discs in the gameplay? like... never x0x *cry* Vib-Ribbon is just intense XD and the music you get with it is soooo cute! and monster rancher is finally coming out on DS in english soon, im definitely gonna get it ^^
dreamer;
yea, we have all the old sonic games and stuff like that on the 360 i think and HAD them on a PSP, but toby sold the whole lot haha.
ohhhh anyone remember Abe's Oddyssy? i think i spelt that wrong. lol. but damn that game was disturbingly awesome. |
Yes! My friend bought Abe's Oddessy and Exodus on Steam recently. But he's really impatient and got frustrated :P I should steal his computer and attempt to play them myself.

| There is an entertainment/media gallery in Melbourne which occasionally shows game consoles. They had a few Spectrums set up with Hungry Horace and some kind of boxing game.
I find it completely weird that those old consoles used to run on cassette tapes!

| The thing is that I'm relatively sure that the Spectrum was actually one of the first PC's, I mean it has a word document on it, and you play all the games with a keyboard. Not as you'd know one but yeah, a keyboard.

| I will admit. I'm not much of a gamer as I am a spectator. I LOVE watching people play games. On occasion I'll jump in (like when my brother gets tired of leveling in Mother 3, or the Rock Band group needs a vocalist), but most of the time I'm the quiet (or not-so-quiet) observer.
I do play a few games, though. I love my RPGs, mostly the Breath of Fire and Dragon Quest series. Not into Final Fantasy. And yes, I'll admit, I LOVE Pokemon.
And I just happen to know a lot about video games. I fooled a bunch of hardcore gamers with some good talk, and then when they asked me if I played it, I said, "No, but I know a lot." They still accept me as one of their own.

| I enjoy computer games mostly, the MMO sort. That being said, I have enjoyed a lot of the fantasy based RPG openworld games released on the x-box 360, and of course Fable 2 is always awesome.
On the computer I prefer fantasy based MMO's. I started with World of Warcraft, but Blizzard is annoying me so I moved on to Aion. I could not stand the way that they were running things, so I am now playing Everquest to, and I'm having a lot of fun with it.
I want to play MMO's that care about roleplayers, which is what I am. Most of them don't.
I also like table top games such has Warmachine, and rpg's like Vampire: The Requiem, Warewolf: The Forsaken, Changling, DND, and so many more.

| YAAY FOR TABLETOP!
I love my Tabletop RPGs. I might get involved in a Star Wars campaign soon, and I'm making a few D&D one-shots.

| Which legend of zelda? I loved the one on the SNES. The one they re-released as four swords for GBA.

| I think I first played on the Atari 2600 that my parents got when they married o.o
I have a lot of cousins so we all shared video games growing up, it was awesome. So I played on a lot of different consoles, arcades and the pc. Does anyone have accounts at a gaming site like Playfire? (is it ok to ask?) I like exchanging links about those and adding people, cause I can talk about games a lot >_>
Right now I only play on my pc and my Xbox 360. I miss my Genesis so bad though, my mom gave it away without my knowledge long ago, and I still can't get over it, it was my favorite!
Anyways, I really don't like jrpgs and I love western rpgs o_o I just don't think jrpgs are "rpgs" enough for me. Western rpgs like Fallout have spoiled me because I love creating my characters, customizing their appearance, personality, and story, I feel they are MY characters. I fail at table top rpgs though, I start laughing and it all goes downhill
Right now I'm playing Assassin's Creed, Bioshock and I'm completely obsessed with Mass Effect.
I wish I could play MMO's but try as I might, I cannot like them.

| Sweet merciful snap! You had Atari 2600 too?! Does your still work? Mine died about a year ago. I also have a Atari PC (I don't remember which model) but the hard drive died ages ago. But I can't bring myself to get rid of it.
Ahem, anyhoo. Not much has changed since my last post here. I'm still gaming on a PS2, Gamecube, GBA, SNES, and PC. Playing a lot of Left 4 Dead, and Worms Reloaded lately.

| I was the fool that gave away my Atari XD I doubt I'd still be playing it like I want to play my Genesis, but dammit I wish I didn't give it away. So awesome.
Those are a lot of consoles o.o I still have my Saturn, PS1 and N64, but they're barely working anymore. I still want a PS2 one day
Are you getting the 3DS when it comes out? I'm seriously considering it. As far as portables go, my brother got the GBA once, wouldn't let me play it, and then abandoned it :T
