Ice walks in and she sits down at the bar and looks around the joint to find a bartender finding one she pays for a beer and looks out towards the crowd.

Cyn felt the almost awkward pause and slowly pulled her hands away from her face. Her body still shook lightly from the shock. As the adrenaline rush wore off she started to feel the pain from her injuries. She had a light burn on her face from the red orb. It was bad enough that it stung like no tomorrow, but not bad enough to leave a scar. She could feel bruises forming everywhere the man had hit her.

Cyn pushed the pain away, took a deep breath, then swallowed. Pain was a weakness, and she had shown to many of her weaknesses that day, including fear. She looked up at Gunnar with an expression of supressed torture as he spoke. Everything was beginning to hurt even more.

"Not much, Im pretty sure Ill be fine." she responded with a not very reasuring weak smile that showed blood that was staining her teeth from the blow to her face.

Cyn flinched away as a stranger girl ran over to her. Cyn cowered and threw a hand up in front of her face expecting the worst after the whole ordeal. As she asked her if she was ok, she slowly lowered her hand and shrugged.

"Who are you?" Cyn asked. She hadn't seen her from behind the wall pan.

She thought about what she just asked and realized a better question would be "Wait, before you answer that please tell me, what the hell just happened?" Cyn asked looking back and forth between the girl and Gunnar.

From far off, Crikit Krass stood in her cave on the tall mountains just on the outskirts of the town.

She was drawn to the smoke coming from what looked like a tavern, the black smoke curling out from the clay chimney. There was nothing out of the ordinary with the small pub, but nevertheless, Kit was compelled to go there.

"I could go for a drink," the tiny wood elf said aloud. She picked up her cloak from the floor where she had tossed it and clicked the clasp into place.

Kit tipped her head back and let out a low soft whistle that somehow carried far.

A blue and white Sky Dragon tumbled out of the air. She smiled as his little pink nose nuzzled her light grey-green leather top. She had made the outfit out of the skin of a basilisk.

"Hello, Sympathy," she crooned to the beast. "Can you take me there?" she asked, pointing at the tavern. Sympathy nodded his head and hissed softly, his breath puffing out her straight black bangs and soft chin-length curls.

"Good," she whispered and climbed onto his back. Her jade green eyes shimmered as the dragon leapt into the sky, heading for the small town.

Arthil was relieved that Cyn shrugged some of off, but more importantly, she showed she trusted Arthil for the moment. "I'm Arthil, but I'm not entirely sure what just happened. All I can remember is ice. Do you need medical attention?" Arthil asked, noticing Cyn's wounds and burn.

Cyn was a mess; not the worst he’ve seen in his life, but Cyn’s injuries were kind of impressive and worrying considering the fact she was a young woman he thought he was able to defend against the enemy he brought here. Call him old fashioned, but the Reptile hated to see a pretty face stained with blood and bruises, so much he could not entirely believe her when Cyn replied she was fine.

Gunnar was a little relieved when another woman joined them; maybe she knew better than him how to react in such a situation.

“Hey Arthil, thanks a lot for giving us a hand, you really were a great help” Gunnar saluted and thanked her before adding a little more teasingly: “She said she was alright, but I’m sure she could do better, right?”

He looked at Cyn while saying this, hoping he could cheer up the mood and make sure nobody noticed he could show hesitation. A little humour to make believe everything was alright, it could always work...

(ooc: sorry I took time for this one: I just moved out to a new residence, kind of kept me busy)

Cyn was about to reply to Arthil's question when she heard Gunnar's voice. She still wasn't sure what was going on, but Gunnar's last statement made her crack a grin. Shortly after the grin turned to a grimace, apparently smiling hurt. Cyn let out a small gasp and put her hand to her cheek that had been burnt slightly and punched harshly.

"Really, I'm ok." she said in a soft unconvincing voice, trying to make as less jaw movement as possible.

With a grunt of pain she hoisted herself on to her feet and propped herself uncomfortably against the wall pan. Then remembered with a jolt, the conversation between the man and Gunnar. What had happened? Who was that man? How did she know Gunnar?

"Now then, could someone please just tell me what happened? Or who that man was?" She reverted her view towards Gunnar, knowing he atleast knew what was going on.

A sharp pain went across her face down her spine and ended in her stomache. Cyn crumpled onto the floor her whole body shaking in excruciating pain. She wanted to take the words she said earlier back, she was deffinitely not ok.

She was able to gasp "Gunnar.." before blackness overtook her vision.

(ooc: No problem it's completely understandable, oh and goodluck in the new residence =])

Kit landed on the roof of the tavern, Symp's surprisingly light footsteps only creaking the roof slightly. She slid off the dragon's back and kissed the tip of his forehead, where a small blue patch was. "Thank you, love." The dragon let out a soft purring noise and launched himself into the sky again until he was a faint white ribbon of glimmering moonlit scales.

Kit slid down the roof and then jumped off the edge, landing lightly on the pebbles. Her hand touched something cold and she looked at it, confused. A small icicle seemed to be sticking out of the ground. Odd...

She entered the tavern, expecting it to be noisy and warm and cozy. What she saw was entirely different.

Huge ice spikes split through the planks of the floor, some stabbing right through tables and chairs. It was slowly melting from the heat of the fires behind the bar, puddling and running between the cracks of the wood. Some lights were flickering slightly.

Everything was chaotic, the bartender talking animatedly to the other workers, customers gasping and whispering in fear, excitement, and confusion.

Kit reached out and put a hand on a faerie's arm that was sitting at the bar. (Or at least, she was trying to. There were ice spikes thrusting up from most of the bar stools.)

"What has happened here?"
Kit asked softly.

The faerie claimed that no one knew and Kit nodded her head and thanked her quietly. She looked around, searching for someone who may have caused all this damage. She didn't sense any dark magic in the ice spikes, but somewhere there was definitely an evil being in this tavern.

Kit pressed her hand to one of the bigger spikes next to her. Yes, the magic in these spikes was good, probably used in self defense. Or maybe even an accident.

Kit tossed back her cloak hood and shook out her short black curls. She planned to get to the bottom of this, as soon as possible.

Ice carefully walked up behind the cloaked girl and said "hello" while inclining her head.

Kit turned towards the girl and nodded her head respectfully. "Hello," she said. "Do you know what has happened here?"

Kit's face fell in disappointment. "Oh. Well, thank you anyway," she said. She turned away and went to the bar to flag down the bartender.

"Excuse me, sir!"
The bartender turned to look at her. "Do you have any idea what has happened here?" Kit asked.

The bartender said no, but the spikes seemed to get bigger as they went towards the bathroom. Kit thanked him and then, as an afterthought, asked for some hot tea. It seemed a crazy thing to ask with ice spikes everywhere, but the Tavern had calmed down some now.

*Xaneth walks into the tavern seeing the ice spikes and is very confused. He walks over to the bar where he sees a girl in a hooded cloak. He approaches her and says* Excuse me do you have any idea what happened here. I just came to this town and whenever i get somewhere new i always head to the tavern and this one has to be the most destroyed one i have ever seen...and that is saying something.

Kit turned to the newcomer and shook her head. "No, I'm afraid I don't know what's happened here. I tried asking around, but no one seems to know."

She smiled invitingly and stuck out her hand. "I'm Crikit. Call me Kit. And you are?"

Kit shook the man...Xaneth's...hand and then frowned at his comment. "I really would prefer you just call me Kit. I don't really respond to Crikit, as no one really calls me it."

Kit was unsure about the stranger. He seemed wary and slightly arrogant but for now, she'd talk to him.

She glanced around the tavern at the melting ice spikes. "I really wish I knew what happened here. It's crazy, isn't it? I've never really seen anything like it!"
