Backstabbing Manga

So my friend is writing a paper on books about backstabbing, and she wants to include a section on manga, but all she could think of was Peach Girl. Right now all I have to add to the list are manga that are about more than backstabbing, but have a decent amount in it: Kimi Ni Todoke, Fushigi Yuugi, and Boys Over Flowers. I know I've read more, but its the kind of plot-line that I don't like to admit that I read usually, mostly because I can't handle it all the time, so I read it once and move on.

Anyone have suggestions of manga to include?

i dont know if there is a specific sort of backstabbing youre looking for, but Battle Royale is full of it (literally lololol )

anddd im sure there is some ammount of backstabbing in Death Note.

andddd Hot Gimmick. ive not read the whole series but the main character seems to get abused by her "friends" alot XD;

Hmm, I don't think Deathnote was what she was thinking of.... but Battle Royale might work... I never read the manga. Nor have I read Hot Gimmick. We shall looke into these!

When I think of Backstabbing in Manga, the first series that comes to mind is Godchild, a gothic horror/mystery series that spans seven volumes, but is really good! The backstabbery in that one made me almost cry...

Seconding Hot Gimmick, In terms of Drama-iest Manga, that's top for me.

hmm....I guess Midnight Secretary [for a more mature reader] and Red River might work. They might be something she'd want to look into.
Otherwise, I can't think of any manga that would really involve backstabbing.
