| "Oh! Thank you!" Tomas stopped playing and looked over at Toni. "I had a feeling about that preacher. He... well, he has a really bad vibe. I'm not exactly sure what, though. Thanks a bunch, though." She put her fiddle back in its case. That was enough playing for one night. There was barely any light left, and she hated fumbling around the woods in the dark.
"What kind of things are up with him, though? Should I notify authorities?" Tomas was a little worried now. She knew that crooks could be found in the strangest disguises, and she didn't want a bunch of thefts or murders happening in her peaceful little lodge.

| "A bad vibe?" Toni crossed her arms over her chest, thinking. "I don't like the sound of that." She frowned for a moment. If Tomas could sense Dreamers, then she probably already knew that Toni wasn't as ordinary as she liked others to believe. She inhaled deeply and shook her head. "I don't think calling anyone is going to do us any good." She looked over at the other woman. "I mean, sure, he talks to people that aren't there. And that's enough to make people worry in itself. But, he did something, I can't explain what it was. And no one is going to believe it."
Toni looked into the gloom, in the direction of the campsites. "I'm going to keep an eye on him, but I think it's a good idea if you stay away from him. There's something not right, about this whole thing and it's giving me a bad feeling."

| Tomas nodded. Toni seemed to know a lot more than she was letting on, but she had a feeling her not mentioning it was for the best. "I'll do my best to keep away from him. Thanks a bunch for doing this, though." She smiled. It was nice to have somebody watching her back while there was a creepy guy around.
Then she though for a minute. "You can tell me what he did, unless it was way too gruesome. I'll believe you, even if nobody else does." Tomas wasn't too sure about that statement, but was better to sound reassuring than doubtful.

| Toni looked at Tomas, unsure. She weighed her options, wondering if she was going about the situation the right way. Well, the girl believed in faries. That wasn't too far off from magics and stuff. She kept her voice low, as if she didn't want anything, not even the trees around them to hear what she said next. "You're not going to believe this. I'm not even sure I do. But I could almost swear that he tossed a rock without touching it. He was sitting on some boulder, just chilling, and there was a snake in the grass. I'm sure he lobbed a rock from the other side of the clearing at it. There wasn't anyone else there.
"I don't think he saw me. And I'm not sure what he'd do if he knew someone saw him or knew that he has this ability. But I'd rather keep this as confidential as possible." The Dreamer paused. "You think I'm crazy, don't you?"

| Tomas took a deep breath. "Well... just a little." She chuckled. "I watched a documentary on psychics once and some of the stuff they did was kind of creepy. Some of them said they were telekinetic, but I could see the string." She smirked. "I'd like to see it for myself before I believe you, but I can understand that this guy is a little creepy, and I'll keep away from him if you say so."
Tomas then put her hand over her heart. "But, real or not, I'll keep what you just said a secret. My lips are sealed." She grinned. "You can count on me."

| Toni smiled, lightly. "Thanks." She looked up at the lodge, and at the darkening sky. "Well, if he stops by the lodge, I don't see a problem if he asks your directions and things like that. There's no reason to be rude, just because he's a bit freaky. And he's supposedly a holy guy. They're 'supposed' to be the good guys." She made a little shrug.
"And thanks for keping it a secret. I'll let you know more as I know more." She stopped just outside the lodge. "I suppose I'll take my leave. I'm sure you have things you'd rather do than listen to me being paranoid."
She waved and headed back to her campsite. It took her a bit long than it normally would in the dark. She passed by the reverend's site, and resisted the urge to poke about. The Dreamer continued on her way to her tent. She had a lecture in the morning, so she might as well get some rest. It took her a long time to fall asleep.

| Rebbecca twittered in a small bush, watching the stars come out. Wait a second, what time was it? She tumbled out of the bush in her hurry to turn back into a human and check her watch.
Nearly time for her daily set of immuno-boosters, she had an emergency set in her pack, but she had just enough time to get back to the lodge if she ran.
She skidded down the hill and pounded around corners, slipping and sliding on wet rocks near a stream, leaping over logs and rocks. She panted to a halt just in front of the stairs up to the lodge. Stopping for a moment to catch her breath she nodded to the lady behind the desk and the girl sitting on the bench, before she went up to her room and decided to turn in for the night.

| Malphas walked out to the lobby, almost knocking into the girl that was dashing through the lodge. "My, somebody's in a hurry." Malphas grumbled. He seemingly paid no attention to it, though. People were always hurrying.
He needed a nighttime walk. He usually liked to spend this time in snake form, but none of them were nocturnal, and the trees really blocked out any light that may have streamed down. And he wasn't quite used to the lack of light. He spent most of his time in large cities, and the forest life was a real change for him. As he went to the porch, he noticed the girl Tomas was not there. "Hmm... must've went in early tonight." he shrugged.
Truth was, he did actually like listening to her and didn't think he did anything to frighten her. She was just freaked out whenever he came by. Most likely because she had some clue about his true nature, however that came about. He would keep a closer eye on her. If she knew anything, she could either be a help or a hindrance in the future.

| Toni slept poorly that evening. She couldn't explain why. It wasn't because she had some horrible gut feeling, like something terrible was going to happen. It was more like she had missed a detail somewhere and it nagged at her all night. She never figured out what it was, but it bothered her all the same. All the same, she got up at stupid o' clock in the morning, to get ready for her lecture. She didn't have the brain power to remember to eat breakfast before heading to the lodge. Unconsiously the Dreamer paused outside the preachers' site, noticing that her boot had unlaced itself.
She knelt down to retie it before continuing. When she saw where she was, her thoughts returned to the concerns she had the night before. If There was more than one Dreamer in the same general area, what would happen if the Norms found out? True, Tomas was aware something was up. But she didn't outright know what was going on. How many other people did the lodge worker get a wierd vibe from? How many more Dreamers were lurking about?
The lecture today was informative, but also very dull. She could have given the talk better than the instructor did. Even if she had to read the entire talk from note cards. She scribbled her notes down in among the myriad of doodles that littered her notbook pages. Her stomach growled angrily at her at an opportune pause in the instructors' speech, giving her peers something to snicker at. Toni grinned too, deciding to grab some something to eat before leaving the building. Wasted money or not, it was better than nothing.
Toni looked over her notes as she ate. They were a mess, but at least she could still read them. She referred to them as she filled out the packet of papers she was supposed to do for homework. She may as well get them finished and hand them in. It would give her the next couple days to herself. Hopefully.

| Stella slept longer than usual, though she woke up still feeling a bit tired. She sat in her sleeping bag and stretched her arms, looking at the watch beside her. If she got up quickly, she could still managed to get a good breakfast at the lodge. She yawned and dressed up, replacing her hair before she exited the tent. She only grabbed her wallet, just wanting to go eat something before returning to her tent and deciding of what to do with her day.
The blond to a simple meal, looking through the window as she ate. The weather seemed nice. If I can find a quiet place, she thought, finishing her platter and leaving the lodge. She headed for her tent, though she only stop to grab a bottle of water and her staff. She then choose a random path and headed into the wood, looking for a calm place to train.
After about 15 minutes of walking and jogging, she reached a small creek. Perfect, she thought, jumping from stone to stone until she reached a nice one. The spot was far away from the camp so that no one would saw her, and she could hear anyone that came near due to the small branches and dried leaves on the ground nearby. And she could return quickly to the camp if she wanted something. The girl sat on a rock close to the water, crossing her leg in front of her, and she started to meditate.
After some time, she opened her eyes and looked at the water. She took a small leaf and dropped it on the water, watching it spin for a few seconds. She then stretched her arm and hand, like if she wanted to grab the floating leaf, but stopped about three feet away from the surface of the water. She concentrated on a small point at the front of the leaf, trying to concentrate her energy to make it stop moving. It took her some time, since she had not done anything like that in a while, but she finally found a way to make a small square shield in front of the thing. She then tried to move the makeshift boat, turning her shield to control the current of water around it. Concentrating on that, she didn't care about the time passing.

| As usual, Tomas was up early to eat her breakfast. She pondered on what Toni told her last night about the reverend being a not-so-good guy. She got a weird vibe from him anyways. Maybe Toni had one too? She shrugged the thoughts off. Whatever her friend saw had to have been, well, weird enough to warn her about. Definately something out of the normal.
She then decided to go about her usual business, vaccuuming the lobby. There wasn't much to vaccuum, but she wanted to keep the place tidy. She saw that there was quite a bit of dust collecting and made a mental note to get the duster out later on that morning. It was interesting, all of these strange people suddenly coming here at the same time. Was there a reason for this? She sighed. Even Toni gave her a strange vibe, but unlike Malphas or the reverend, the vibe she got from Toni wasn't a bad one. In fact, it was a good feeling that made her want to be around the young woman. She usually didn't befriend the tourists, but this one was different.
Malphas also woke up a little earlier than usual. His shock of almost being hit by a rather large stone the other day was not completely gone. From the looks of the stone, no man could've picked it up that easily and hefted it such a distance. This genuinely confused the man something fierce.
He continued his work, even while there. He may have been laying low, but he still snitched a wallet or two from the others there. The laid-back area made his job so much easier to complete. So far he had about eighty dollars from the three people he snatched from, keeping the cash and slipping the cards and rest of the wallet back into their bags or pockets. For such a backwoods place, he was doing pretty well. He spotted Tomas vaccuuming, but decided to slip past her without a word, going out the door for a walk.

| Toni was about to give up on her papers and rest her head on the table in front of her. She was tired, and the diagrams on her homework sheets had been given extra, irrelevant, features. She wouldn't get docked for them, but they weren't supposed to be there anyway. She looked up from her work, at the sound of a vaccuum. It was a welcome distraction. She looked up to see Tomas busying herself across the entrance hall. The other girl looked distracted, and didn't even notice Malphas walking past her. Thinking she ought to go check up on one of the people that had grabbed her attention, she packed up her things and headed toward the entrance. The creepy guy handn't gone far enough away from her to loose sight of him yet.
She she was close enough to speak without yelling she greeted Tomas. "Hey. Good morning. How did you sleep?" The Dreamer kept an eye on the man as he walked away.

| "I had a much better time sleeping than the previous night." She smiled. She had no nightmares that night. In fact, she didn't have any memorable dreams. She glanced over to where Toni was looking. Malphas was exiting the building. "I wonder where he's off to this morning?" she asked quietly, as to not bring his attention over to their general direction. "He usually doesn't come out until noon."
"By the way, have you heard of any money being snatched lately? Some of the other tourists have found their wallets without cash in them." She looked around to make sure nobody was listening. No need to cause a panic if nothing was happening. "Have any of your classmates been struck?"

| Toni, grinned, glad to hear that one of them had gotten a good night's rest. She, like Tomas contemplated on where Malphas was going. At the announcment that money was missing, Toni thought for a bit. "If they've been robbed, I've not heard about it yet. But then, I haven't been spending too much time with my classmates." The Dreamer shrugged. "Wasting too much time wandering around, you know?"
"How long has this been happening? And are they sure they didn't forget to hit the bank before stopping in?" she inquired. "I mean, I though I was missing money in my wallet, earlier this morning. But that was before I remembered that I had bought something from your kitchen yesterday."

| Tomas pondered a bit. "I heard that it started yesterday afternoon." She said back. "But I'm worried about the place's reputation. If people hear that there have been thefts, they'll be less likely to come here during the heavy tour seasons. And that would break the owner's hearts..." she frowned.
She couldn't bear the thought of the place being empty because of a rash of random thefts. She had been wandering these campgrounds ever since she was little, and loved all of the people that came there. Less people meant less money, and less money meant... she shook her head. No need to start thinking the worst at this moment.
"Sorry, It's just... this has never happened before here."
