This has been a good day/bad day because...thread

I can understand that, but I wasn't raised with being grounded for bad grades. I just had a talk to about trying my best and work a bit harder on it. But I still feel bad because of you being grounded. And what you can't have is kinda hard too.

This is a bad day, and so was yesterday. Yesterday I ended up working 11 hours at work and NOTHING got done. The timer on the bread machine was broken so we burned over ten batches of bread, which meant there was none ready for the next shift and I felt horrible about it. Betty, the older manager who came to relieve me for that shift, saw I was about to cry and made me take an hour long break, then had me do trash and go home which was very nice of her.

Today I get to work third shift. Ive never been trained for third shift. This is either going to be interesting or horrid.

Well I'll get through mine. I kinda have to XD. I just kind of look at it like this; the worst they can do is fire me. I'm working as hard as I can and they know it, so it should be okay.

I've been having a few difficult things happen over the past week. Main thing being my computer not working (I've borrowed a laptop). RAH!

What made my day a good one was something I noticed on the local animal shelter's website. What happened was, last week my dog and I were followed by a stray little dog - and I don't mean chased, just followed - he was lonely. He was a very sweet and kind little guy. But when I tried to lead him home, he was frightened away by some children on bikes. I was worried that the poor thing wouldn't survive on his own. >< I've never felt sorry for a lost animal before, as I'd never seen one so gentle.

So a week later, I looked on The Lost Dogs Home website, and saw his photo there. ^^ While I'm not able to adopt him, I'm glad that he was found and is now in a safe place. I hope he gets adopted by an equally kind and loving family. So yeah, while that's not very interesting, it did make my day a nice one.

Just when I thought they weren't going to call back after a DREADFUL interview, today I shall be attending orientation FOR MY NEW, SHINY JOB!

Har, har... I'm in completely disbelief, my interview was AWFUL. They asked questions like: why should we hire you, why do you want to work for us, what do you think you bring to the table, what are your strengths and weaknesses and stuff like that. When I wasn't glancing about bewildered, I was saying all the wrong things such as "well, I've been trying to get a job for two years but no one would hire me... but I'm ready now <double>" and when asked why I should be hired, without a single thought replying "BECAUSE I'M AWESOME. ("What makes you so awesome"?) BEING AWESOME LIKE ME."

So, yeah. xD Terrible, terrible interview.

Today is looking like a good day =^.^= My kids at the school I am observing where really good today, the weather is nice, and I only have one class. And then I get extra work hours so that is allways nice.

today has been a bad day because my bus drove past and left me.
today has been a good day because my dad then gave me a lift instead.
today has been a bad day because i wasted 2 hours in a lesson that taught me absolutely nothing.
today has been a good day because my other teacher let me get away with doing no work for 2 hours cos i helped him find the name of a film he saw when he was 11 THE TIME MASTERS!

Today looks like it's going to suck. And it's only just begun.

As of this morning we lost another one of the puppies. Bringing the total back down to ten. This makes the fourth animal to die during a holiday (season). I don't have time to be depressed because I need to make sure I don't loose anymore.

And with it being Easter week, the pressure is on in the house. For me anyway. I'm an athiest, and I'm trying to avoid open conflicts with the more zealous people in the house. Needless to say, I'm running out of tact, patience, and all around diplomacy with certain people. And I have a hard enough time with these people without this extra aggravation.

Lastly, I have to go to work today. Being a glorified babysitter for undiciplined devil children is already grating on my nerves. With everything that's going on, I've had half a mind to toss them all through a brick wall.

This has been a good day because I wore faire garb to school and free monster guy came with lotsa free energy drinks! I nabbed three of them...hehe. Now I'm feeling a little twitchy as I type this.

My TV broke, the dinner was Spaghetti, my niece forced me to help her buy clothes, she bought me a hamburger too :3, I collected enough silver to buy a Horai Shirt, there's a new page of my favorite webcomic, and I don't have to go to school this week... I think that was a nice day
