[OOC] Saint-Bridgit School for Mutants

Seeing that the ehem "good" doctors are preoccupied, and I haven't the inspiration to create one myself, I'll leave Jordan in her cell for now. She's currenly getting stoned out of her mind with catnip and will be rather useless. (I rolled funny. *Shrugs* ) I'm having a nameless guy do some things, ask a couple questions and report his observations to any of the other doctors that might end up being involved.

Anyone can make a NPC, especially doctors and such. Just make sure they don't look too much like the on already created. Or you can just do the same as Tsemara...

The school's authorities are working on finding something. Chances are, once all the kids have been evaluated, they will be met by one of the higher NPC to discuss what they have done and all, and then... get involve in a special project? Dunno how to say it without telling you everything... <.<

Ok, I'm working on the thread and all, and I think it's time to add a little something to it. But I want you guys to be part of what happens next, so you'll have a choice to make.

Path #1: This is pretty much what I've already written and started to introduce in the game. Docs talk to Principal, then kids are probably brought to the Principal and asked if they understand what they did was bad, and then are forced to be part of a special project. Nothing more I can say about that...

Path #2: This is something that has come to my mind as I was writing more things for Dr. Black (which I'm starting to consider making a character of mine, seeing how I use her all the time now). Anyway, you might have realized that Dr. Black doesn't really like the other doctors and how the school works in general. So, I was considering making something special with her, and maybe one of the other NPC to assist her.

-> Option #1: Dr. Black's plan works.

-> Option #2: Dr. Black's plan doesn't work.


Thing you need to know is, if everything works like Dr. Black is planning it (path 2; option 1), the "school" part of the role-play will probably stop, meaning the action will be taken somewhere else. So that means all the previous NPCs, or at least most of them, will be cut out of the picture, along with the usual "go to class, do homework, etc" actions. And since that's a big change, I want to know what you guys think about it.

There's also a second option, meaning Black goes with her plan, but something doesn't work. Than something will happen with Dr. Black (not sure what yet), but then again, that will have an effect on the school and kids. The school will still be there and we'll still be playing in it, but lots of things can happen from there.

I won't say more about it though, as I still want to keep a little surprise effect, but if you've read Dr. Black posts, you can probably guess what she's trying to do. So yeah, what do you want to do, guys?

Sorry I haven't posted in a long while, I'll think about that though, also I will make a post to try and get Eve back into the swing of things. Also at least for now, I shall postpone making another NPC for Eve, I'll just make an unamed doctor.

Ooh, very interestings. I like the idea of a special project, but I also like the sound of getting away from the school in some sort of escape-y way.

I think I shall wait to see what zee others also think, as that will probably get my own thought process rolling. Lol @ my helpfulness.

I got so many idea about where to take the role-play from where it is now, but the thing is they are all opposite of each other, or close. So in the end I can only use one, or two at max.

I thought I ought to butt in and toss in my two cents.

Now, I'm all in favor for letting the mutants escape from the school setting, but this does pose a problem for the heroes. The powers that be aren't about to let such specimens escape, right? So we'd have to develop new NPCs that would be constantly hunting them down. (Not that I have any problem with that scenario.)

And returning to a school setting isn't going to work with a couple of the mutants. They know who they are. So there would be some kind of problems arising with that plot line. (Still totally acceptable, to me.)

My character, if not restrained in some way, would probably try to escape again. But I'd like to see what others have to say.

You're right with the hunting thing, Tsemara. I haven't develop it much yet, but of course, if the authorities have pushed so hard to get us back from one of their own labs, they certainly won't want us to run around freely. Not that's it's a bad thing though, but it's different.

That's where the special project comes useful. Though it won't prevent all the escapes, or tries to escape, it will change the things a bit for the mutants, giving them reasons to stay at the school.

Now I had a strange thought.

What would happen if the powers that be decided to use the escaped mutants in field tests, or something? Obviously, there would be someone there to keep an eye on them to keep them for escaping again. They've already proven to be resourceful enough to get out of a secure facility. (Uh, right.) Some of them, if trained or whatever could prove to be powerful combatants or whatever. And.. uh..

My train of thought just derailed and exploded. I don't remember what I was about to write.

I would say escaping is a better option...since I really doubt Lynx will be allowed back into regular society otherwise. She is just too dangerous and too unpredictable.

With her mental instability, however, it'll be difficult for her to go anywhere without special medications...

Either way, I can adapt...somehow. So, it doesn't really matter to me.

That's a bit the reason why I chose DR. Black, and not just some random NPC. After all, she is a psychiatrist, so she can probably find way for the more unstable mutants to have a more normal life. Might take her a little time to figure out what works best for Lynx, since she's "special", but I'm pretty sure we can find something.

Anyway, let's go on with the role-play and continue chatting about it here, if you want. After all, we still have an important meeting coming... <.<

Oh ho ho. Thar's sum good ideas. I'm leaning more towards the special project, but that's because I want to know what it is. Also, I think that's more interesting than escaping, since we've been through a little mini-escape, so this would be different.

That being said, I'm up for either. Actually, escaping this time would probably be much more violent and shit so...

So yeah.
