AION is pretty fun. I mean, it's kind of usual quests and shit but I'm only level 14 so I haven't really left the noob area. I've played a TON of MMOs ( I really like beta testing for some reason) and it's kind of par for the course as far as gameplay, except that you can fly (but plenty of other games give you that option). Not yet been able to see some of the awesome quests, though. I don't have a lot of time XD;; Hrnn but I LOVE flying. It is just wonderful. And the character creation, something I'm seriously obsessed with, is WONDERFUL. I mean you only get to choose from 2 races, but the customization you get sort of overshadows that. I adore my character, she's awesome. XD There are also 4 classes, but that too isn't too bad. And all of the classes are nice.
The story is interesting and the world is prettyyy~~ when you look up you can see all sorts of things in the distance and if you look in the sky you can see the other world, where the other race of players plays. :D It's cool. Also you can fight the other race as well as all the monsters, AND the main enemy of both races. XD So you've got variety and PVP.

I dunno~ haha, it's definitely worth a try if you like MMOs.

I, too, kinda like Aion, even though I... am not a gamer. It's pretties and the character creation is nice. The only thing that gets me is the apparent lack of swimming.... I dunno, my character's only like level 3 or something, so I haven't gotten too far in it. I can only play it when I'm over Kaishi's and her brothers aren't using the downstairs computer.

You just walk into the water along the bottom and it damages you until you drown XD I know from experience.

Not a free game, but certainly most highly intriguing! Though... I can't find the info on what they expect you to pay monthly, or at all

LoL I had to cancel my billing for a minute to look at the rates, but it's $15 a month or lower if you do larger recurring payments. I am doing 3-month $40 (about $13/mo).
