| Wow, eight in my age range including my vote joy!
I'll be turning 22 in May, but I find that I seem to lean toward the younger crowd when I hang out with other folks. I got into go-gaia when first started doing forum stuff. I was mainly a chat user before then, met the best friend evar there. We've been friends since then, and that was in '02.
I was like, just out of my sophomore year and getting into my junior year of highschool. Class of '05 ftf. I hated my graduating class. No one my age knew wtf anime was or anything, so I was always on my own. I'd spend my entire study hall on the computer roleplaying on go-gaia and finding new hacks to bypass the blocking software installed on the computers. Muwahahaha.
But I've been to several other forums, mainly gaia, though, but it really got boring to me, so I left. I'm hoping to make Midorea my new gaia, it seems nice enough, though relatively slow posting wise. :< Then again, I guess I just talk a lot. I appear to have made quite a few posts when I only just joined on Saturday. *shoots self*
My middle school didn't have any foreign languages, sadly. Only way I learned was through my grandfather, who speaks fluent Spanish. I'm half hispanic, but I don't speak much of the language. I even went to Mexico for over a month and I still am only 'skin of your teeth' fluent. I, luckily, didn't make any translation flub-ups that put me in the police station. I didn't get out much.
And what surprised me was that while I was there, I tried some Sushi... Mexican Sushi is GOOD WTF. xD I cracked up so bad when I got back to my host family house..
Oh dear I babbled again..

Do animals count as avatars? I started on Neopets back in middle school, like 6th grade. I was really into that stuff, mainly earning silver and PLAYING WITH THE STOCKMARKET. I thought I was so business savvy back then. xDD I moved up to Gaia for a little while in 9th. Left it in the beginning of 11th. I wasn't on any site after that until this year WHEN MIDOREA STOLE MY HEART

Hear, hear. I don't really think about how old people are, unless they start behaving in an exceptionally unpleasant and immature manner.
That said, I myself behave like I'm 5, on occasion, but hopefully in a playful, pleasant way :P . Not like I'm particularly old - turning 23 this year.
On the matter of wishing one was younger.. I admit, sometimes I half do! It feels like life gets weirder and more chaotic the longer you stay adult, especially watching what my parents have to deal with every day. As a grad-student, life has very few complications at all, barring laundry and exams. I cherish the years gone by, but I think I give myself a lot less pain than I used to in those angsty-teen years and peer-pressure ridden pre-teens. Plus, it kicks-ass to be independent

| I joined my first avatarsite end 2005, when I was 14 8D;
I have a pretty average age here, but I tend to think most people here are around 13 for some reason  YOU GUYS ARE SO CHILDISH FFFF (just kidding C: last week I asked a guy for his ID because he wanted to buy cigs and I thought he was below 18, but he was 26... So I just fail at ages lol).
also about schools, I had Dutch, English, German and French :B you can say all you want but dutch=/=german. otherwise I wouldn't have flunked german so hard.
